A 6’3 wing player, Parker is an elite athlete who can play above the rim at both ends of the floor. He brings a versatile and well-rounded game to the floor who does whatever his team needs to win. He can a terrific defender, finisher and can knock down outside shots.
He spent the offseason competing for the KC Magic and says the experience helped shape his game.
I would describe my game as a well rounded game. I can do whatever my team needs me to do on both ends of the floor.
“Playing for my summer team (KC Magic) was a great experience for me this summer considering it was my last year,” he says. “It helped me get noticed by colleges, get better as a player, and as an individual.
“The things I worked on most were shooting, ball handling, and most importantly slowing the game down and taking my time.”
Parker says his team has big expectations and goals planned for this season.
“We have much potential, but we have to get better in practice everyday,” he says.
Parker said his dad has been the biggest influence on his basketball career to date.
“He has helped become the player I am today,” Parker said.
A fan of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook and the Wizards’ John Wall, Parker says he has taken aspects of both player’s game and make it his own.
“What I’ve taken from their game is the speed in which they play, IQ for the game, and the many moves they have in their arsenal,” Parker said.
