Player of the Week: Week 2
Last week we had over 5,000 votes to name North Bullitt’s Logan Steinmacher the Player of the Week. This week we have another solid group of candidates. Make sure you vote for your favorite!
- Central Hardin’s Deonco Wilkerson – The 5’11 guard averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3.2 steals per game for the Bruins with 27 points against Marion County and 26 against Bowling Green.
- Travis Perry, Lyon County – Only a 7th grader, Perry is starting varsity for the Lions. Tuesday night he scored 16 points and had 11 assists, Friday he had 18 points and 10 assists and Saturday he scored 37 points and had 10 assists.
- Trevon Smith, Taylor County – The Senior leader of the Cardinals has his team off to a 6-0 start and had 28 points and 7 rebounds Tuesday, 23 points and 8 rebounds Thursday and 23 points and 14 rebounds Saturday.
- Darrius Washington, Fern Creek – The 6’7 Sophomore had 16 points against Doss, 17 points against Trinity and has already had a triple double this season in his first year as a starter.
- Dontaie Allen, Pendleton County – The Senior had 34 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday, 34 points on Friday, and 51 points and 19 rebounds on Saturday. Pendleton went 2-1 on the week.
- Collins’ Marcellus Vail – The 6’3 Junior had 13 points and 5 rebounds against Trinity Monday, 20 points and 5 rebounds Tuesday against Franklin County and 25 points and 3 assists in a win over Shelby County Friday.
