Lets take a look at some of the Top 2019 Performers in the event yesterday.
Xavier DixonXavier Dixon – Cheraw HS
Dixon just gives you results every time he touches the floor. Dixon is not flashy and really lacks a true position for the Braves, Dixon scored 18 points in the win over Calhoun County. Dixon 6’2 is averaging 15 ppg and 5.4 rebounds this season for the Braves. Dixon has a great nose for the ball and he is a productive scorer when given the chance to score the ball.
Latrell Taylor – Keenan HS (pictured on front)
Taylor really came to play in this game vs Conway HS. Taylor finished the night with 17 points and some big shots down the stretch. Taylor is a great on the ball defender and isn’t afraid to jaw up at times with some chatter. Taylor plays with a lot of intensity and has great quick hands.
Q’Dardrius Sanders – Keenan HS
Sanders a point guard won’t play you away with scoring the ball. Sanders is a table setter for the Raiders. Sanders took several charges here today and came up with a loose ball when needed for the Raiders. Sanders makes the engine go at times for the Raiders offense.
Ethan Tullock – Calhoun County HS (St Matthews)
Tullock is just a blue collar kid for the Saints that plays his tail off while on the floor. Tullock a football player in the fall season for the Saints recorded 3 charges today. Tullock scored all of his points in the paint and finished with 19 points in the loss.
DeAunte Sherman – Conway HS
Sherman had one sweet shooting stroke today for the Tigers. Sherman connected on (4-5) three pointers on his way to 16 points. connected on 2 late three pointers in the last 25.6 seconds to keep the Tigers in the game. Sherman 6’0 also plays wide receiver and defensive back for the Tigers on the gridiron. Sherman has a very quick shot release.
