Beaufort Academy vs Low Country Prep
Beaufort Academy made the trip north for 149 miles on Highway 17 to Pawleys Island to play the Marlins. Both teams plays in the SCISA 1A ranks. The Eagles jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back in the contest.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Dawson Coleman (2020) with 21 points, Elijah Fess added 19 points and point guard Jaylen Reeves chipped in with 10 points.
Coleman 6’4 quarterbacked the Eagles football team season the gridiron. Reeves transferred in from nearby Whale Brach HS. Reeves is extremely quick with the ball from side to side and really keeps the ball out on a string.
The Marlins coached by Larry Roberts will go through plenty of growing pains this season. Cory Appleton seems to be a key piece to the puzzle for the Marlins in the years to come.
Andrews HS vs Waccamaw HS

Carrele Cooper a former Andrews HS player transferred into Waccamaw HS this past summer. Cooper scored 10 points in the rematch game. Reaves Hooks led the Warriors in the 45-41 victory with 11 points. Tyree Funnye ended a dunk at the buzzer to finish with 5 points.
The Yellow Jackets had three players share honors Rayquan Kinloch, Tyler Middleton and Tevin Tisdale all with 7 points a piece.
