Ahmad Brown – Ashley Ridge HS
Brown is extremely active around the basket. Brown 6’6 left-handed bouncy forward really fills the well in transition for the Swamp Foxes. Brown has a long and rangy frame and does his best work from 6-8 feet around the basket.
Harold Johnson – Denmark-Olar HS (Denmark) (pictured on front)
Johnson finished the day with 33 points for the Vikings in a tough loss to Airport HS 62-61. Johnson 6’2 left-handed guard slashes and uses his creating for others to make plays. Johnson has a lanky form and uses crisp passing to set up teammates. Johnson has been a fixture on the varsity program since his 8th grade year with the Vikings.
Tyrin Mazyck – Lake Marion HS (Santee)
Mazyck is a new name that will pop up in the new rankings which will be coming out soon. Mazyck is sharpshooting guard for the Gators that really likes to do his magic from the corners. Mazyck 5’11 has a quick shot release from behind the arc.
Leondria Nelson – Manning HS
Nelson a combo guard is learning to play more on the ball for the Monarchs. Nelson 6’3 is shifty with the ball and likes to use the crossover dribble to attack the basket. Nelson has good size at the guard position. Nelson will for sure make a debut in the new Palmetto State rankings coming out soon.
N’Chez Alston – Kingstree HS
Alston is a TWEENER on the floor for the Jaguars. Alston really lacks a true position but brings solid production to the floor. Alston seems to be best around the basket on garbage and put-backs on the glass. Alston just brings solid production to each game and at the end of the day you just scratch your head on how he does it.
Tyron Fleming – Timmonsville HS
Fleming 6’5 is a left-handed forward who has a lot of potential for the Whirlwinds. Fleming has good length and wingspan. Fleming has the ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end. Fleming at times needs to play more motivated on the floor.
