Let’s take a look at this editions prospects that have the capability of playing collegiate basketball at various levels.
Zach Iyeyemi 6’8” 250 lbs C-F / 2019 / Cy-Fair PHTX100
Is having a great Senior campaign this season. He has been very aggressive and a force inside the paint. He also stretches out the floor offensively with his long ball capabilities. He is shooting 36% from behind the arc. He has good footwork in the post. Has solid post work with face up game and uses his body well. also He is averaging 15.5 points per game. He is pulling down 7.4 rebounds per game. Zach has a couple of D1 offers from Low-Major Schools. @ZacharyIyeyemi
Steve Fontenette 6’5” 175 lbs SF / 2019 / Katy
Steve is the play initiator for his high school team. He plays with a slo-mo skill set that gets him to the rim and around his defender. Utilizes the triple-threat when he catches the ball on the wing. Has a decent post presence. Has a long wingspan that helps him defensively. He is averaging 18 points per game, 9 rebounds per game, and 4 assist per game. He plays the big role in his teams early success so far this season. He currently has no offers but has been contact by a couple of D3 schools. @SteveFontenette
Chris Green 6’3 170 lbs SG / 2019 / Sam Houston MS&T PHTX100
Started out slow to start the season, but has really come on strong these last 8 games. Has the ability to get to the lane and finish in the lane. He is shooting the ball well mid-range and from deep. Active on the defensive side of the ball and plays with great energy. He leads the team in scoring averaging 16.5 points per game. Quick hands defensively which has led to a 2.2 steals per game average. Has had interest from low-majors and D2’s during the spring and summer.
Kevin Baker 6’5 PF / 2019 / Sam Houston MS&T
Very solid inside presence. Uses his quickness in the paint to get easy buckets. Has good footwork and plays the high post extremely well. He’s not tall for his position but uses his body well. Has a muscular build. Super strong prospect that moves his opponents around. He is averaging 12.7 points per game right now. Hauling down 6 rebounds per game also. Kevin doesn’t have any offers at this time. @KevoHoops23
Brad Milliorn 6’4 190 lbs SG / 2019 / Deer Park
Tough two guard that hustles on every single play on both sides of the ball. Solid catch and shoot prospect. Comes off of screens well. Plays physical on ball defense. He leads the team with 45-3PT shots made and is shooting 32% from behind the arc. He is also shooting 85% from the foul line on the year. He is averaging 12.2 points per game, and grabbing 4.7 rebounds per game. Brad has an D3 offer from a McMurry University. @brad_milliorn
Dalon Dean 6’3 188 lbs SG / 2019 / George Ranch
Dalon is a very streaky shooter who pulls the trigger from deep. He can create his own shot as well as catch and shoot from behind the perimeter. He plays the passing lanes well defensively and is averaging 1.1 steals per game. He is averaging 17.9 points per game on the year, and has made 53 trey balls on the season. Shooting 37% from behind the arc. Dalon has no offers at this time. @OfficialDalon
Noah Thomason 6’3 185 lbs PG / 2019 / George Ranch
Noah is having a big season for the Longhorns. He is a great facilitator. Active on the floor with a good motor on both sides of the ball. Plays with multiple speeds to control the game. Takes his defender off the dribble. Collapses defenses to get teammates involved. Plays above the rim at times and puts defenders in the rim. Has flirted with a triple-double 7 games this year. He is averaging 21.6 points per game. He not only leads the team but leads the district in scoring. Pulling down 4.5 rebounds per game. Throws 4.4 assist per game which is also the district high. He is shooting 51% from the field and 35% from deep. Noah currently holds an D2 offer from Northeastern St (OK), has interest from other D2’s and some JuCo’s. @NOAHTHESHOW
DK Thorn 6’2 G / 2019 / Dawson
He is a guard who can score the ball. He plays hard-nosed on ball defense. Plays the passing lanes well. High Motor prospect that is scrappy and gets after it. Takes opponents off the dribble. Can shoot the ball from behind the arc. Has made 28-3PT shots and is shooting 39% from behind the arc. He is averaging 12.7 points per game. He also is pulling down 4.6 rebounds per game. He doesn’t have any offers at this time. @DkThorn_
Lorenzo Waddy 6’8 PF / 2019 / Dawson
Lorenzo is a big body player who runs the floor very well. Has a body build of a defensive end. He is a force in the paint on both sides of the ball. Has good low post work and gives hard screens. Has decent timing when blocking shots, he is averaging 1.3 blocks per game. He is averaging 12.3 points per game and shooting 63% from the field. He is hauling in 8.3 rebounds per game. Has had 5 double-doubles on the season. He doesn’t have any offers at this time. @big_boy_lo
John Argue 6’8 170 lbs PF / 2019 / Clear Lake
John has a slender body build. Despite his build he still gets down and dirty in the paint more defensively than offensively. He has a decent bounce to his game and good timing on shot blocking. Averaging 2.3 blocks per game. He is shooting 61% from the field and 38% from behind the arc, where he has made 22-3PT this season. He is averaging 17.9 points per game and bringing down 7.7 rebounds per game. He currently hold no offers at this time. @Jargue42
Evan Palmquist 6’4” 175 lbs CG / 2019 / Concordia Lutheran
Solid combo guard that could be used at either position. He is smart with the ball in his hands. Makes the right plays and right passes. Has good floor awareness. He is averaging 4.9 assist per game. He’s not your traditional catch and shoot off guard. He will put the ball on the floor for a one dribble pull-up. He gets his defenders off balance with this move and scores at a high percentage when doing so. Shooting 69% for his 2FG, 53% for his overall field, and 33% from behind the arc. He’s averaging 9.6 points per game, grabs 4.9 rebounds per game, and is picking pockets with a 1.9 steals per game average. Evan doesn’t have any offers at this time. @e_palmtree2
Jarius Gillon 5’11 PG / 2019 / Westbury Christian
This point guard is a pesky on ball defender. He is active on the defensive side of the ball. He is like a gnat at a bar-b-que that just won’t leave you alone. He gets inside of his opponents head alot. He is averaging 2 steals per game. Offensively he gets in the lane and shoots from deep ok. He gets his teammates involved because of his quickness which forces defenders to collapse on him. He is averaging 14.2 points per game and dishing out 3 assist per game.
