Cedric Rollerson 2019 Mount St. Mary’s
Rollerson has come out of the gate firing in 2018 as he has been putting up big-time numbers. MSM is off to a great start this season and it is centered around the high-level play from Rollerson. He is averaging 26 points per game this past week in the 3 games not to mention did a great job of finding making plays for his teammates. The senior guard is off to a great start and the Mount is benefiting from it.
Micah Thomas 2019 Putnam CIty North
Thomas is the man at PCN and he is one of the best scorers in Oklahoma and he showed that skill off this week. He went on a 3 game run of putting up 31 points then he came back against Enid and scored 28. PCN traveled out of state over the weekend and he scored 36 against West Memphis. Thomas is a nominee who could end up on this list more than once due to his ability to score from anywhere on the floor.
Moun’Tae Edmundson Jr. 2019 Centennial
Edmundson is one of the most underrated guards in his class. He put up a great week of performances including 25 points against Douglass, 17 against Lawton, and he finished with 22 against Ada. This undersized guard is putting up big numbers for Centennial and he is on the way to a big senior year.
Miles Monical 2019 Ketchum
This Ketchum forward’s stock is rising and he is stepping up big so far this season. Monical has dominated for the Warriors and averaged 17.7 points and 10.7 rebounds in his last 3 games. He is putting up stats but he is also doing all the little things which helped Ketchum go 2-1 in the 3 game stretch. Monical is a prospect on the rise and he has the ability to continue this for the rest of the season.
Shemar Smith 2019 Norman North
Smith is one of the most talented players in his class but what sets him apart is his motor. Smith has been putting up numbers for a few years now so it was normal to see him put up a 31 point 18 rebound against Piedmont. Smith has been the key to NN starting off the season 5-0. The UCO commit is playing the way we expected but you have to appreciate when a great player is playing at a high level.
