Northwood Temple 2019 Guard Josh Nickelberry: The Louisville signee did what he does best and that’s put the ball in the bucket at a very high level. He would lead all scorers with 32 points on the night and scoring the ball in all types of ways. Whether it was knocking down the trey ball or attacking the basket, Josh showed a bit of everything on the court.
New Life Christian 2020 Guard Phil Martin: He has been putting together some nice performance as of late, with the ability to knock down shots at a high rate, he is a player that should transition to the next level well. He didn’t have his best shooting day but had his moment and knocked down some big time shots late in the game, finished with 13 points.
Northwood Temple 2020 Guard Jamahri Harvey: Harvey had a nice showing of his own as he scored 23 points and put together some clutch buckets. His talent is not just on the offensive end of the court, he came up with some key deflections and blocks that would be key in his squad taking home the win.
New Life Christian 2020 Guard Dahaun Jones: He’s played his way into the starting lineup and has been among the teams leading scorers in the past few games. Last night was no different as he finished with 12 points and handful of steals, he has good end to end quickness and a nice midrange game.
New Life Christian 2020 Forward Jeremyah McWilliams: Had a solid showing, finished with 9 points in the game and made some plays inside the paint. Using his long wingspan to challenge and alter some shots, still developing as this is just his 2nd year of varsity basketball.
New Life Christian 2020 Wing Reggie Raynor: He put down the dunk of the day with a jam in the first half that had the crowd going wild. He is recently coming back from a foot injury and had some moments were he played solid but is still working his way back into things.
Northwood Temple 2020 Forward Travon Jackson: He does all the small things that you need for your team to win games. Whether it’s blocking shots, rebounding the ball, putting back missed shots, he is always around the ball and making a play using his athletic ability and high motor.
