Star Spencer appeared as if they’d run away with Tuesday night’s game against Northeast with ease, until Darvin Petties exploded in the second quarter, making this an entertaining contest. The Bobcats still pulled out a 72-66 victory over the Vikings.

The Bobcats jumped out to a 38-17 lead early in the second quarter when Northeast’s Petties went on a personal 20-3 run through the final 6 minutes of the half to regain the lead into halftime over Star Spencer. It was resemblant of how Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder takes over games at times. Each possession, Petties crossed halfcourt with the full intention of scoring the ball and that’s precisely what transpired. To be specific, all of his shots came off three-pointers
