This past weekend DeMatha played host to the National HoopFest which was arguably one of the top events of the high school season. There was talent on the floor all weekend long and this article takes a look at some of the top performers from Saturday.  

2020 5'10 Delonnie Hunt | Rock Creek Christian 

Hunt made the move to leave St. John’s and attend Rock Creek Christian Academy for the summer and since the move he has played well with his new school. Hunt doesn’t pass the eye test due to his size but he will show you that he can still play good basketball. He is comfortable with the ball in his hands and brings good leadership to the court. One of the highlights of the event was him catching a very nice alley oop. On Saturday he finished with 18 points in a big win over Cesar Chavez.

2020 6'2 Cory Barnes | Archbishop Carroll

I saw Cory play twice last week and this dude can score the basketball. He is averaging 18 points on the year and is doing it in a variety of ways. One thing
