Chase Raymond (2019) – Dutch Fork HS (Irmo)
Raymond eventually won the MVP here of the event after the Silver Foxes claimed the Championship. Raymond 6’0 guard has a nice mid-range game to go with his slender-sleek frame. Raymond looked to stalk the baseline on occasions to much success.
Bailey Encalade (2019) – Colleton County HS (Walterboro)
Encalade is originally from Georgia. Encalade transferred into Colleton County HS last season after attending Union Grove HS (GA). Encalade 6’6 is a decent athlete with good bounce. Encalade likes to play on the perimeter and handle the rock at times.
Encalade penetrated and kicked a occasion or stopped and pooped from three point range. Encalade shies away from contact and enjoys playing face-up on the floor. Encalade might need to entertain junior college options according to Head Coach Matt Mullins.
Keenan Coats (2019) – Swansea HS
Coats is strong guard for the Tigers. Coats had a solid football season for the Tigers playing quarterback. Coats (137-271) 1,450 yards and 8 touchdowns. Coats 5’11 looks to bully smaller guards on his way to the rack. Coats plays with a good demeanor on the floor and attitude despite the season the Tigers our currently having on the basketball floor.
Antoine Parker (2020) – For Dorchester (pictured on front)
Parker was GREAT today we were in attendance. Parker 6’3 has really expanded his game out to the perimeter and knocked down several three pointers on his way to 26 points. Parker plays with a warrior mentality on the floor and has one of the biggest smiles off the floor. Parker a high character kid also excels on the gridiron for the Patriots as a wide receiver.
Khyree Thompson (2020) – Burke HS (Charleston)
Thompson 6’1 combo guard plays with a lot of confidence and swag on the floor for the Bulldogs. Thompson has good elevation on his shot and seems to play more from the mid-range game in. Thompson did miss a dunk here today trying to get a bit cute and it didn’t take long for Head Coach Deon Richardson to pull him out of the game for a bit.
Carlos Thorne (2020) – Burke HS (Charleston)
Thorne 5’9 left-handed point guard set the table for the Bulldogs offense. Thorne really liked to use the bounce pass (lost art in todays game) and use the head-fake to get to the basket. Thorne isn’t much of a shooter on the floor. Thorne really changes directions well with the ball.
Side note – Dutch Fork won the Championship here over Burke HS 62-39.
