Trenton Gibson starts for Tusculum College. Gibson helped lead his Blackman High team to the Class AAA State quarterfinals. His stat line this year is impressive. Gibson is putting through 11.5 points per game. Remember Gibson is very well-rounded and capable of helping in a multitude of ways. Gibson’s rebound average is 5.0 rebounds per game and he dishes out 3.3 assists per game.
Lee holds opponents to 40.0% shooting, good enough for nineteenth in the nation.
Quay Kennedy was virtually unknown by college recruiters as he played for Columbia Central High. Lee University picked him up and the freshman wing is shooting a strong 54.9% from the field in 20.4 mpg. He is the reigning Gulf South Conference Player of the Week.
Redshirt freshman Kentrell Evans of Brainerd leads the Flames of Lee University in assists and turnovers with 47:34.
Middleton High School graduate Tylandrius Parks leads Union College with 7.3 rebounds per game. Parks is a bouncy wing with 8.7 ppg.
Though he is not a freshman C.P.A. sharpshooter Evan Ragsdale is pouring in 50.0% of this three-point shots for Trevecca Nazarene’s new head coach. Ragsdale leads the team with 11.2 points per game.
