Justin Headrick Recruiting Update (2019)
“I have 8 offers,” shared Stone Memorial Class of 2019 forward Justin Headrick Thursday morning.
While playing with Tennessee Tigers 17u, starting even, Justin Headrick gathered a little Division II interest. His July netted him several delicious offers.
“Maryville College, Bob Jones University, Hampden-Sydney, Berry College, Roanoke, Bryan College, Birmingham Southern, and Pfeiffer,” have offered.
Bryan College and Birmingham Southern are aggressively recruiting Tenenssee this cycle and last.
BSC currently dresses Evan Sigler (Franklin), Ben Spence (Christian Brothers), and Aidan Waldrum (Hendersonville).
Beyond those two Justin Headrick maintains a handful of Division I options.
Chattanooga hosted him for an unofficial visit earlier this year.
“Tennessee Tech offered me a preferred walk-on and Tusculum and Berry are coming to watch me play Saturday,” said Headrick.
Tennessee Tech is a school where walk-ons can play and even have an impact. Mason Ramsey entered a walk-on and earned starter’s minutes by his senior year.
Most Division I teams will inevitably miss on their top options. This is how Headrick could gain a D1 offer late. Remember @PrepHoopsTN diseccted Justin Headrick will a full player evaluation back in June.
For now he sees three particular schools a little out front.
“I think Tennessee Tech, Maryville, and Tusculum are all great options,” stated unsigned senior Headrick.
