Eventually Lumberton would make one final push in the 4th quarter that would give them the lead they needed to get the win, 55-42.
Lumberton HS 2020 Guard Jordan McNeill: This was our first time seeing Jordan spend a high amount of time at the PG spot but he performed well. He got into the paint, found teammates with some nice passes and rebounded the ball at a high level once again. The maturity he showed with not allowing the off shooting night effect his performance is something that we were impressed with. His final stat line was 10 points, 9 Rebounds, 5 Assist and 2 steals.
Jack Britt HS 2019 Forward Calvin Washington: Has good height And a long wing span to go with his athletic ability. He scored the ball fairly efficiently and was active on the defensive end of the floor. Mount Olive college fans should be excited about what he will be able to do once he arrives. He is a versatile player that you can place on the wing or use as a stretch forward. Finished with 14 Points
Jack Britt HS 2020 Wing Langston Davis: He is a very intriguing prospect, another player that has good height and wingspan. He scored the ball well throughout the game and was aggressive to attack the paint. If he stays locked in and works hard, he has a chance to be a nice prospect overall. Finished with 16 Points
Jack Britt HS 2019 Guard Braden Hayden: Didn’t have his best day scoring the ball but still did some nice things for his team. He’s a taller guard which helps him see over defenders and allows him to make plays. On the defensive end of the floor, he has all the tools to be a really good defender. Doesn’t have the best lateral quickness but his wingspan allows him to cause some disturbances.
Lumberton HS 2019 Forward Braylan Grice: We have seen him do some major damage on the football field and he is no slouch on the basketball court either. He plays the game in a physical manner, forcing his way to the basket in the paint and battling for rebounds, finished with 15 points.
Jack Britt HS 2019 Guard TJ Ellis: Didn’t have his best day but we like what he can possibly be, he has good upper body strength which allows him to embrace some contact. Offensively he played within the flow of the team offense and picked his spots, what we liked most was his consistent defense on that end of the floor.
Lumberton HS 2021 Guard Jadarian Chatman: Solid overall showing for the Sophomore Guard, he shot the ball well from deep, knocking down multiple treys in the first half. Did a nice job of moving without the ball as well as pushing the tempo when he had the ball in his hands.
