Kassius “Jay” Williams – Socastee HS
Williams was solid all weekend long for the Braves. Williams a left-handed point guard connected on the floater in the lane along with some baskets at the rim. Williams at times got a little too fancy with the ball and made some simple mistakes. Williams a All-Classic selection for the Braves. Williams scored 22 points in the 5th place game vs Laurence Manning Academy.
Jonathan Wright – Socastee HS
Wright is a undersized shooting guard. Wright has a quick shot release to get it off and doesn’t seem to have no range limit on his shot. Wright will shoot the ball from out to 25 feet. Wright is not a ball-handler and isn’t afraid to jump on the floor for a loose ball. Wright scored 15 points in a win over Conway Christian. Wright connected on 5 three pointers. Wright will shoot the majority of his shots from downtown.
Marcus Moore – Socastee HS
Moore is a RAW talent along with be a late bloomer. Moore 6’8 runs the floor great and keeps the ball up high when rebounding it. Moore needs to finish better around the cup and through traffic. Moore has only played the game the past few years. Moore has great length and has the ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end.
Shane McCravy – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)
McCravy was attacking the basket all weekend long. McCravy really has seemed to abandon his perimeter game like in the past and has looked to attack the rack more often now. McCravy scored 30 points in a loss to Trinity-Byrnes. McCravy scored the majority of his points in the paint.
Isaiah Archie – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant)
Archie is a savvy point guard for the Landsharks. Archie can get the ball into the gaps and find the open man. Archie got hurt vs Trinity-Byrnes and left the game under concussion protocol. Archie has a nice mid-range jumper. Archie returned on the final day in the win over Cathedral Academy.
John Price – Cathedral Academy (North Charleston)
Price got hurt in game 2 for the Generals. Price a off guard excels behind shooting the 3 ball. Price already a 1,000 career point scorer had his weekend cut short here with a ankle injury vs New Life Christian Academy (NC).
