He doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off, and once he gets going, the defense can be in for a long night. Finished with 24 points in the matchup, will be one that could see a major increase in his role next season due to graduation.
Pine Forest HS 2019 Wing Erwin Montgomery: A lot to like about what he brings to the table, 6’3 with a long wingspan and still raw talent, he is one that we feel will only get better as times goes. He has put up some solid numbers in certain games this season, now the next step for him will be to perform on that level consistently.
Southern Lee 2019 Forward Octavious Flack: Alot to like about what he brings to a team, he is the type of player that you don’t have to run any plays for but instead he gets his offense by crashing the boards and being active. Has good upper body strength and athletic ability, which helps as he is a player who is undersized at the Forward spot.
Terry Sanford 2020 Forward Yates Johnson: Didn’t have his best showing but was solid throughout the matchup with Pine Forest. One thing you have to like about his game is that he always finds a way to make an impact. Whether its scoring, defense, or using his passing skills to find teammates, he always seems to be active and engaged.
Terry Sanford 2020 Guard Jay Hickman: Some players seems to have a knack for finding ways to score the ball and Jay is one of those players. He knocks down shots from deep, but also understands how to get into the gaps of defense to get to the paint or draw fouls.
Terry Sanford 2020 Forward Ezemdi Udoh: Our first time seeing him this season as he was also a player who has spent some time on the football field. He provides a physical presence inside the paint for the Bulldogs, although he didn’t score much, he battled for rebounds.
