Andrew Bradshaw (2019) – Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS (Bamberg) (pictured on front)
Bradshaw was a great surprise for Prep Hoops here today. Bradshaw 6’4 was a blue collar specialist around the rim. Bradshaw played inside the paint and battled for everything. Bradshaw has a strong frame and runs the floor very well. Bradshaw is a late bloomer for sure on the hardwood and a strong student in the classroom. Bradshaw brings a great mind set to the floor with a winning attitude and team first mentality. Expect to see Bradshaw somewhere in the new rankings this coming on Prep Hoops.
AJ Williams (2019) – Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS (Bamberg)
Williams a all-everything football player for the Red Raiders just brings toughness to the hardwood. Williams recently signed with Wake Forest University for next season to play football. Williams helped the Red Raiders (Football powerhouse) get to the 3rd Round of the Playoffs this season.
Jerry Tyler (2019) – Ridge Spring-Monetta HS (Monetta)
Tyler is a undersized shooting guard who really likes to do just that. Tyler at times needs to monitor his shots better. Tyler is extremely quick from one end to the other on the floor. Tyler is a 3-sport athlete for the Trojans also excelling in football and track. Tyler finished with 20 points today in the loss to Blackville-Hilda HS.
Jacoby Bailey (2019) – Blackville-Hilda HS (Blackville)
Bailey was the catalyst today for the Hawks in their 2 wins to claim 3rd place, Bailey a left-handed guard had to pickup the slack without the services of Adonis Davis (2021). Bailey 5’11 connected on a few three pointers from downtown and scored 25 points in a win over Ridge Spring-Monetta HS.
Shawn Jones Jr. (2021) – Allendale-Fairfax HS (Allendale)
Prep Hoops first saw Jones Jr last season at the Sweet 16 Tourney in Orangeburg. Jones Jr. is the son of Sumter HS Head Coach Shawn Jones. Jones Jr. a quarterback on the gridiron can play a combo guard position on the floor. Jones Jr. has the ability to create his own shot and for others with his playmaking o nthe floor. Jones Jr. has good bounce and knocked down a few three pointers on the perimeter. Jones Jr. finished with 13 points in the Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS.
Justin Baxter (2021) – Bamberg-Ehrhardt HS (Bamberg)
Prep Hoops first saw Baxter here at the Hawk Invitational. Baxter 6’6 has grown some in the past year and looks to be still filling out his frame. Baxter still has time to figure things out and grow on the floor. Baxter’s best basketball is still in front of him. Baxter a left-handed forward has limited skills on the perimeter and seems to best fitted from about 8 feet in from the basket. Baxter has great length and wing span and covers a lot of ground on the top of the zone defense.
