He’s the type of player that can block a shot, outlet the ball to a guard, get down the floor and put back a missed shot. Since the last time we saw him play, he’s playing with a higher motor and more aggression, by time it’s all said and done, he should have a good amount of offers to choose from.
First Flight HS 2020 Guard Dylan Blake: There is no denying the talent that he has, he came into this season being known as a three point shooter but has slowly but surely raised his level of play. One example of this was the matchup on Friday night, he hit very few treys but got into the paint and score the ball as well as drawing fouls. He would finish with 43 points and 14 Rebounds in that game, all this coming from a player who is only 6 foot. You have to be impressed with the way he has developed over time, and he will only get better.
First Flight HS 2020 Wing Jordan High: He had a quiet first half in the first game we watched him, but turned it up in the 2nd half. He would finish the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds on the night, making his presence known inside and out. His ability to shoot the ball is already known but you have to respect his ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the basket.
Myers Park 2020 Forward Terrance Johnson: On the first night, he got into some early foul trouble so we didn’t get to see much of him. However on the second day he had a much better performance and was able to stay on the floor. Shot blocking and rebounding were some of the things that he brought for his team. At 6’5 with nice athleticism, it’s not much of a shock that he was able to have such a high amount of success in those areas.
Northside-Pinetown 2020 Guard Rashod Smith: One of the top performers of the day, even though he picked up some early foul trouble, he showed his talent. He can score the ball at a high level but is even a better passer. Not every pass he threw was flashy, he had a few kick ahead passes and fundamentally sound plays, expect another big time season from Smith.
