His ability to score the ball is what he is known for but you can also move him over to the PG spot and he doesn’t have an issue with making plays for others.
Currituck County 2022 Guard Carmillo Burton: Nice amount of potential in this youngster, he’s shifty with the ball and showed that he can score it at a pretty nice level. He’s young so of course there are still areas that we would love to see him improve but we really like his upside and how good he can possibly be.
Ocracoke HS 2021 Center Cole Gilbert: He still has a ways to go but one thing is for sure, you can’t teach his height of 6’10. The key for his development is continued work, staying in the lab as much as he can and building on his fundamentals, overall very good upside.
Farmville Central 2021 Forward Leontate Moye: If there was a 6th man of the year award for high school, he would have to be in the running. He is still somewhat finding his way on the court with his new school but the talent and potential is there. He’s a 20 and 10 type guy and if he stays locked in and works hard, he has a chance to be a special player and prospect.
Hertford County 2022 Guard Keondre Rodgers: He had a big time game despite his team coming up short in their matchup with Camden. Scoring 22 points and using his speed to blow by defenders on a regular basis, he got the opportunity to show everyone in attendance what type of potential he has. Of course he is not the tallest player on the court, but the toughness and speed that he plays with, should allow him to have a very productive high school career.
Hertford County 2022 Forward Taric Rayonr: A big body inside the paint, Taric helped his team with the ability to score and rebound the basketball. He was pretty efficient with the touches that he got and has good hands, will only get better as time goes on.
