The game was the second contest played at Eudora on the night, following a big win by Bonner springs over KC East (Mo.) earlier in the night.
22 — Rock Jerome, 6’2, G, 2019, Eudora. @r22_j22
An underrated lead guard, Jerome has good size and athleticism and does a little bit of everything well. He plays under control, gets to the basket and plays terrific individual and team defense. He did a good job at the head of the Eudora zone walling off opposing ball handlers as the looked to break down the Eudora defense off the dribble. He was an all-state performer a year ago and appears poised for a big senior season.
15 — Jayden Pierce, 6’4, F, 2019, Eudora
A strong inside-out player, Pierce showed the ability to move well without the ball and scored in the paint and on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder and post defender and crashed the offensive glass for Eudora on Monday. Pierce can also step away from the basket and knock down open jumpers and hit several mid-range shots on Monday from the elbow.
34 — Caleb Zimmerman, 6’4, PF, 2019, Eudora
Zimmerman is an old-school post player with strong hands a terrific footwork. He has a knack for scoring in the paint and around the basket and works hard to get position in the lane. He put together a big performance on Monday against Harmon, controlling the boards, setting solid screens for the Eudora guards and setting up on the block.
10 — Lonell Lane, 6’1, PG, 2021, JC Harmon
Lane is one of the state’s top young point guard prospects, blessed with terrific size as he has a big, strong basketball frame and plays much bigger than his listed 6’1 height. He is quick off the dribble, capable of getting all the way to the basket and has good court vision as he is capable of finding open players Lane needs to tighten up his outside shot to take his game to the next level, but has shown the ability to score baskets in the paint and gets to the free throw line.
35 — Chauncey Keys, 6’3, F, 2021, JC Harmon
An athletic interior player with a long rangy wing span and a lot of bounce, Keys was solid on Monday defending the paint, blocking shots, getting on the boards and cleaning up around the basket at the offensive end of the floor. Keys also showed he can step away from the basket and handle the ball a kittle, knock down 3-pointers and is a good passer who can see over the top of a defense as well.
