ANTHONY BLUNT | 6’2 PG/SG | PALLOTTI ‘20
When you watch Anthony Blunt play, you would not really be able to tell this was his first year playing varsity. Blunt has a poise and toughness about him that stands out, and he can not only make shots, but create and defend at a high level. As Blunt continues to learn and gain more in-game experience, he should only improve, and one day he will probably make a college coach very happy.
ERIC DIXON | 6’7 PF/C | ABINGDON ‘19
Eric Dixon was the most dominant player in the tournament, carrying Abingdon to a championship berth and averaging 30 points in 3 games. The Villanova commit was a forceful presence on the boards and a reliable go-to scoring option who was very deliberate offensively. Dixon’s broad skill set, relentless work ethic, and overall toughness should endear him to Wildcats Head Coach Jay Wright from day one.
CHUCK HARRIS | 6’2 PG | GONZAGA ‘20
One thing that recently stood out about Chuck Harris was his improved athleticism. He has good size for a lead guard, but there have been questions asked about his athleticism, and he seems to be answering them this year as he looks light on his feet. Harris has become a better leaper and is now a threat to block shots. He has demonstrated improved body control which has enabled him to finish around the basket from all types of angles with contact.
JASON MURPHY | 6’9 C | ST. FRANCES ‘19
Jason Murphy was a standout performer in his team’s opening round win over Riverdale Baptist. One thing you can never question about Murphy is his motor. He works relentlessly to help his team gain an advantage on the boards, and his hands have really improved. Murphy finished efficiently around the basket, and was in the right spots to receive the ball.
JT TYSON | 6’5 SF/SG | POTOMAC SCHOOL ‘20
Potomac School wing JT Tyson stands out as a versatile wing who plays with a very high work rate. Tyson is an active rebounder and a decent ball handler who can get into the lane consistently and seeks contact around the rim.
