Fabulous Freshman Part II
Fab 5 Freshman????????????????????
Prep Hoops Texas continues our coverage of the Fabulous Freshman Impact Players. This article features the Top 5 early Freshman standouts for the DFW metropolitan area.
Keyonte George / 6’2 / SG / Lewisville / 2022
George is arguably the best scorer in the state for his class. He’s had multiple games where he’s went for 20 or more. George is on target to break multiple scoring records at his high school if he keeps filling it up the way that he is.
Tre White / 6’5 / SF / Little Elm / 2022
White has been a big help for the Lobos this season. Before the season started it seemed that Little Elm would struggle to find someone to help Rj Hampton but Tre White answered those questions immediately when he put on the Lobo uniform. White has had some big games this year and has really shown off his versatility on the offensive end.
Nazir Brown / 6’1 / PG / LD Bell / 2022
Brown was probably the most slept on player on this list because know one was really talking about the young man at the start of the season. He recently got my attention a couple of weeks ago when I witnessed him put on a clinic with the ball in his hands versus Lewisville where he scored on all 3 levels. He followed that up with another strong performance in front of PrepHoops Texas Lead Contributor Brandon Jenkins.
Colin Smith / 6’6” / SF / St. Marks / 2022
Smith has had some solid games against some of the top Public school teams in the State. The long Forward has showed the ability to knock down open jumpers and finish above the rim in transition.
Jordan Walsh / 6’6” / SF / Faith Family Academy / 2022
Walsh may only be a Freshman but has been a huge boost to his high school team this season. The long skilled forward has helped his varsity team in a multitude of ways, especially in the scoring and rebounding department.
