Bryce Griggs 6’1 PG / 2022 / Fort Bend Hightower
Bryce is having a fabulous freshman year. Many has said we haven’t seen a high school player like this since D’Aaron Fox. In this early impactful season he has drawn some good size crowds. He has the ability to take his man off the dribble. Has great deep ball range. He is still young and takes plays off at times. He is putting up some strong numbers 24 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, and 3 assist per game. Hightower current record is 11-5(3-0). They are ranked 14th in the State UIL 5A.
Brian “BB” Knight 6’3 SG / 2022 / Katy Tompkins
BB is having a great season. He is leading his team in scoring with a 21 points per game average. He is capable of taking his man to the rim. Has a nice pull up game in the mid-range. Knocks down the deep ball at a high rate. He draws the toughest defender of the opponents team every game. Plays very composed and at times plays the background. Next season as the team leader will be scary if he’s doing this and not always involved in the offense. Katy Tompkins who went to UIL 6A State last year current record is 9-6 overall. They will start District play today against Cinco Ranch.
Sean “PJ” Haggerty 5’10 PG / 2022 / Fort Bend Ridge Point
This young prospect has had some great shinning moments for Ridge Point. His season average is 10 points per game and 2 steals per game. Teams have now game planned for him and aren’t giving him an opportunity to have any space. Great catch and shoot ability from deep. Needs to improve his decision making and mid-range game. Ridge Point currently holds a record of 12-4 overall UIL 6A.
Chancellor White 6’4 SF / 2022 / Richmond Foster
Foster sits at .500 right now with a 5-5 record. Chancellor has been big for them. He is averaging 16 points per game and 5 rebounds per game. He plays decent in the post. He thrives from the wing spot. As he adds muscles to his frame it will impact his game tremendously. The young freshman is the teams leading scorer and rebounder. He uses his athleticism well offensively and defensively.
Jordan Williams 6’1 PG / 2022 / Kinkaid
Jordan plays a major factor for the Falcons. He has a nice stat line with 13 games in. They sit at 7-6 overall. He is averaging 10.1 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and 4.4 assist per game. He attacks the lane physically and aggressively. Finishes in the lane at a high rate. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Has a good IQ offensively. Plays good on ball defense as well.
Austin Nunez 6’0 PG / 2022 / Universal City Randolph
Austin has been playing big for his team in this early season. The Ro-Hawks are 13-0 right now on the season. Austin deep ball game opens up the game for himself and his teammates. He has also been showcasing his ability to attack the lane. He has been playing really scrappy on the defensive side of the ball. He is averaging 18 points per game this season.
Vince Iwuchukwu 6’10 C / 2022 / San Antonio Cole
Cole Cougars sits at a 12-3 overall. This young prospect is averaging a double-double on the season so far. 12 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. He has made a big impact in there season. His length makes him a factor in the paint. He scores the ball around 40% around the rim. Has decent foot work and good strength.
