Continue ReadingWith the new format to the season, we are looking to do more full on player breakdowns. Those will come on Fridays and Sundays. This version, is our weekend breakdown with games from Friday and Saturday. This week we watched Roncalli vs. Decatur Central, Frankton vs. Southport, Carmel vs. Jeffersonville, Brownsburg vs. New Castle, Hamilton Southeastern vs. Culver Academies, Cathedral vs. Zionsville, and La Lumiere vs. Center Grove.
#11 Aidan Looney – 6’3 SG 2020 – Roncalli (IN)
**6 points against Decatur Central (IN)**
Looney is a tall guard that has great size and a variety of ways to score. He’s good on the wing to drive or shoot and think he’s a guy that will keep it balanced moving forward. Has the handles to help a bit on the ball but more of a 2/3 long term. Wanted to see more effective finishing ability but have seen it in the past.
#14 Jacob Denney – 6’2 SG 2019 – Roncalli (IN)
**12 points against Decatur Central (IN)**
Kenney is a tall guard with a great frame and ready to go for college. He was really good in the lane and transition as he can handle the ball well and finish with either hand. Solid jumper but more of a drive guy in this game. Will play off the ball and could be a sneaky guy to look at for some small schools.
#32 Daniel Asher – 6’7 PF 2020 – Roncalli (IN)
**4 points against Decatur Central (IN)**
Asher is a growing post player who has some stretch ability. He was really good on defense, showing the ability to switch and play on the wing when he need to. He’s going to be a bit limited offensively without touches in the post but he’s got a few moves to be able to score. So agile down low that he can get to the bucket against bigger, less mobile posts.
#50 Johnny Brunk – 6’2 SF 2021 – Roncalli (IN)
**18 points against Decatur Central (IN)**
Brunk is a player that has yet to find a defined position as he has the looks of an undersized forward and can play in the post a bit but has developed his handles a ton in the last year and was playing on the ball and the point most of the game. Showed he had some solid speed in the lane. Doesn’t have a great first step but in the full court he can get going and will lean on defenders to finish at the rim. Jumper looked solid and repeatable. Worlds different than a year ago but still not sure where he ends up.
#10 Kenny Tracy – 6’0 SG 2020 – Decatur Central (IN)
**11 points against Roncalli (IN)**
Tracy is a big guard who plays on the ball quite a bit. Good shooter but didn’t take many in this one. His shot did look a little harder and more line drive than before. Was more looking to get at the rim and is so physically aggressive that he draws a ton of fouls. Not sure he stays on the ball in college but shoots it well enough, if he gets a little taller he could have an easy transition.
#22 Ryan Bostic – 5’11 PG 2019 – Decatur Central (IN)
**10 points against Roncalli (IN)**
Bostic is a solid lead guard with some jitter ability and quickness. Lefty with a good jumper and can pull up well of the bounce. Can drive to create and dish as well as finish at the rim. Needs to find a little more separation to be able to finish a little more effectively but a slight tweak to do so. Really interesting name to track in his senior season.
#34 Schyler McGuirk – 6’2 SG 2020 – Decatur Central (IN)
**9 points against Roncalli (IN)**
Schyler is a wing with some size and a very aggressive athlete. Was good off the ball and made plays on both side of the ball. He’s really aggressive and likes to play fast and tough. Loved the energy. Showed he could shoot it a bit from deep. Need to see more but for a first look, he has some room to grow but an effective player already. Could be a 2/3 and play a few different roles.
#12 Brevin Jefferson – 6’2 PG 2020 – Southport (IN)
**8 points against Frankton (IN)**
Jefferson looked solid in this game at parts. He wasn’t nearly as aggressive as he needs to be but when he does he is pretty good. Had a nice drive to his right hand with a spin move to draw a foul. Shot well off the catch from deep and looked more comfortable there than a year ago. He has the size and athleticism to be a solid player just doesn’t do enough of it at times.
#22 Chaz Hinds – 6’7 PF 2019 – Southport (IN) [Committed to PIkeville]
**14 points against Frankton (IN)**
Hinds was solid in this game and looked like a better scorer in the paint. He was pretty agile in the post, not with speed but just footwork. Was a little more under control from the perimeter where he can really make plays with his passing and shooting at times. Wasn’t able to shoot well today but does have that in his bag.
#10 Brian Miller – 6’1 SG 2019 – Southport (IN)
**9 points against Frankton (IN)**
Miller is a solid guard with some shooting ability. Plays a little off the ball now more than he had in the past. Great size and build and could become better as a on-ball guy to max out his value. However, he looks locked in shooting the ball. All came off the catch but was pretty solid. Hit back-to-back late in the game to put Southport up 7.
#33 Matthew Munoz – 6’6 C 2020 – Southport (IN)
**11 points against Frankton (IN)**
Munoz is a mobile post player who has the agility to make plays in the post around other bigs and scrappy guards. Does well to use his length and really effect things in the post. Sometimes a little passive but improved since last season. Did some damage around the rim where he can grab and finish high. Makes simple plays. Could still grow a bit and body could develop some in the next year.
#30 Kayden Key – 6’0 PG 2019 – Frankton (IN)
**16 points against Southport (IN)**
Key had a little bit of an up and down game. One of the best scorers in the event but had some unluckiness with his shots falling. Showed a solid ability to get into the lane, a little better than you would think against this team with their length and athleticism. Made a huge and-one drive late in overtime to tie it up.
#40 Rylan Detling – 6’7 2019 – Frankton (IN)
**13 points against Southport (IN)**
Detling is a solid forward with good mobility and slashing game to him. He was pretty good making plays faced up in the wing and mid-range. Could really be strong in the post rebounding, often battling 50/50 balls and winning. He has a frame that is going to add strength and help him down the road. Isn’t super fast getting up and down the court but actually quick in the half court with a solid first step. Has that creativeness that can give him a big college career.
#10 Brayton Cain – 5’10 PG 2019 – Frankton (IN)
**10 points against Southport (IN)**
Cain is a smaller guard but has a solid frame and can really shoot it. Showed some aggressiveness shooting a game tying three off the pull up with 20+ seconds to go in regulation. He’s not a big driver but can against the right level of talent. Built much more as a wing shooter who can get the ball up and get the offense going. Best playing in motion where he can get space on the wing.
#3 Karsten Windlan – 6’0 PG 2019 – Carmel (IN)
**21 points against Jeffersonville (IN)**
This was one of the better games for Karsten who was great all game long, especially in the second half. He is really athletic for a guard and was able to get into the lane so quick that he caught Jeffersonville off balance all game. Finished strong and high at the rim, giving him so separation. This was about the pinnacle of his aggressiveness mixing with effectiveness. Great game.
#20 Andrew Owens – 6’5 SF 2019 – Carmel (IN)
**7 points against Jeffersonville (IN)**
Owens was pretty good in this one. Not needed to do a ton and looking much better, movement wise. He had 7 points in the win and hit a three. He’s going to find more ways to expand on his offense as he gets worked back in but good to see him looking like normal.
#33 John-Michael Mulloy – 6’9 PF 2019 – Carmel (IN)
**19 points against Jeffersonville (IN)**
For John-Michael, this was another great game for him as he has strengthen his game in the post and is so much more physical and able to really compete down low. His agility is finally coming into play as he is being doubled at times and he has to be even more creative. He had 19 points and still sat out a decent chunk of the second half because they were up so much. Was aggressive and Carmel made sure to hit him a lot early in the game.
#1 Tre Coleman – 6’5 SF 2020 – Jeffersonville (IN)
**11 points against Carmel (IN)**
Coleman is big wing whose game could play him more as a guard in college. Handles the ball really well for his size. Showed he could play pretty much anywhere on the floor, getting into the lane well and hitting a bit from the three. However, he struggled to finish at the rim, more from disruption and just bad luck. Was doing well also as a physical rebounder. Could mix it up with Mulloy and others down low. Overall, showed a lot of what he does well and this should be looked at as more of a down game, proving the upside.
#4 Devean Franklin – 6’3 SF 2021 – Jeffersonville (IN)
**6 points against Carmel (IN)**
Franklin is a tall wing with a great body and some athleticism. Was pretty good in the few times he looked to attack the rim. Think he has enough handles to be effective in the lane and finish at a pretty high level. Had a nice runner in the lane for an and-one.
#11 Jacob Jones – 5’10 PG 2020 – Jeffersonville (IN)
**10 points against Carmel (IN)**
Jones is a lightning quick guard who slashes into the lane really well. Lacks ideal height but has strength and toughness and knows how to shield the ball pretty well. Had some tough finishes against Carmel’s size down low, though. He’s so shifty that he is going to create a lot of plays from nothing. Did a pretty solid job of dishing it out to other players, just Jeff had so much bad luck finishing.
#33 Darin Starks – 5’10 PG 2020 – Jeffersonville (IN)
**8 points against Carmel (IN)**
Starks is a tough guard who will play on or off the ball. Physically gifted and has quite a bit of length. Shot the ball really well from deep with a good release. Thought he caused some turnovers and was more disruptive playing on the ball. Like the idea of him developing into a three-and-d point guard at the next level. Has a lot of skill left to develop with his body being quite interesting.
#12 Will Loving-Watts – 6’3 SF 2022 – Jeffersonville (IN)
**2 points against Carmel (IN)**
Will is a long, rangy wing with a stellar frame and body. He’s really good around the lane where his length and strength play up a bit. Had some trouble getting some touches in the offense but was able to slash and create a bit off the bounce. With time, he should become a bigger weapon, able to use his skill set a bit more. Even the athleticism should play up.
#3 Cam Alford – 6’0 PG 2019 – Brownsburg (IN)
**14 points against New Castle (IN)**
Alford has been playing a little more consistently since last season as he’s become more aggressive at the rim and is so physically imposing. He still lacks the consistency or ability to hit threes but is about as tough as they come getting in the lane. Sparked things in the second half as he used more crossovers than usual and got some separation. Will really need that other element of his offense to keep defenders honest and not sagging off for his drives.
#10 Reis Thomas – 6’3 SF 2019 – Brownsburg (IN)
**12 points against New Castle (IN)**
Reis Thomas is a big wing that is back after an injury during football and looked really good. He’s big and while he doesn’t look very athletic or fast, he’s actually both and while he might be a step slower than he usually is, he’s still just as athletic. Was better when he looked to drive, going to his right hand. Hit a pair of threes and showed that touch you want to keep his versatility as an option. Could be a sneaky good college player.
#30 Jakobi McGowan – 6’2 SG 2020 – Brownsburg (IN)
**19 points against New Castle (IN)**
McGowan is a big wing that can really shoot the ball. Doesn’t have the most agile frame but off the catch he was deadly tonight going for 19 points and hitting five triples. Almost six but his foot was on the line. He’s pretty mobile and does well to get himself into position to get off a shot. Can create a bit on the wing but looks better off the release on a catch rather than a pull-up.
#32 Malek Edmonds 6’5 PF 2020 – Brownsburg (IN)
**13 points against New Castle (IN)**
One of the best games we have seen from Malek. Really aggressive and influencing plays with his physicality. While a little undersized, he played tall and strong at the rim, grabbing a ton of tough boards and really finishing strong on the low block. He was showing off his shooting ability as well knocking down a solid catch-and-shoot three. He’s getting better and better. If he can get a little more height, that would really help his game take off to another level.
#4 Pierce Thomas – 6’5 SF 2021 – Brownsburg (IN)
**9 points against New Castle (IN)**
Solid game for Thomas, the ultra athletic wing from Brownsburg. He’s still showing an improved jumper with a more consistent release. Wasn’t hitting them today but really a lot better than a year ago. He was using his athleticism and handles more today in transition to make plays. Release on floaters and close shots at the rim are a little heavy at times. If he can use little more finesse, that could help.
#3 Luke Bumbalough – 6’0 PG 2019 – New Castle (IN) [Committed To Ball State]
**23 points against Brownsburg (IN)**
For Bumbalough, he’s going to be asked to do a lot this year and it won’t always be in his best personal interest. Tonight, he didn’t get a ton of help from his teammates and he was needed to really keep this team in the game. So, he seems to force some shots that he might not normally take and drive into some defenses that will hurt his efficiency. All told, he’s playing really well. Still needs that help from his other shooters to even out the offense.
#5 Blake Burris – 5’10 PG 2019 – New Castle (IN)
**7 points against Brownsburg (IN)**
Burris gave this team some offense from the perimeter. He’s a capable shooter and can play a little on and off the ball. Would like to see some more plays made to get the shooters some more looks. Burris isn’t a big creator so that hurts a bit. However, he did drive a bit and got some free throws. If he can get to where that is more of his game, that would go a long way.
#24 Nick Grieser – 6’2 SF 2020 – New Castle (IN)
**7 points against Brownsburg (IN)**
Nick was a bit better in this game than when we had seen them in the past. He was good mixing things up in the mid-range, creating some scoring chances of 1-2 dribble moves from 12′. He’s not really a guy that can play on the wing a ton but does have that versatility with some work. Could be a good small school prospect that can play more of the wing positions.
#2 Aaron Etherington – 6’6 SF 2019 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN) [Committed to Toledo]
**18 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Etherington was a little slow to start but really picked it up late in the game. He was very aggressive on defense, contesting shots at the rim and making some highlight reel plays. Later he was starting to hit some threes and really finding his groove. Would like to see that happen a little bit earlier and have a complete game. Something that he has done before, just haven’t had the chance to see in person yet.
#1 Noah Smith – 6’1 PG 2019 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN) [Committed to Indiana Wesleyan]
**6 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Smith was pretty good early on, aggressive at the rim. While he slowed up on that later in the game, you can see his path to more production as he’s slick in the lane and has the finishing ability. Still needs that perimeter jump but defensively he seemed to be difficult at times as he can pretty much guard 1-3 at the high school level. He looks a little taller and definitely more filled out than a year ago.
#20 Chris Grubbs – 6’5 SF 2020- Hamilton Southeastern (IN)
**14 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Grubbs was good in this game showing off his slashing ability. He’s very quick and savvy through the lane. He’s big enough that most players that will end up defending him can’t really keep up with him in the lane and you have to switch and by that point he’s already at the rim. Mid-range and deep jumper was solid, could have hit a few more but should come with time. Looks a little bigger, a little tougher and that was helpful as he moves forward.
#50 Mabor Majak – 7’1 C 2020 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN)
**11 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Early on for Mabor, he was really good, attacking the rim and using more agility to finish rather than pure length. He’s got a really good finish with his right hand in a baby hook. Slowed down in the second half but still was looking to find those spots. A little more assertive and useful with his body than a year ago. Still can make a big leap forward with his play but making steps in the right direction.
#3 Kole Hornbuckle – 6’4 SG 2020 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN)
**2 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Kole is a long, think guard that has the handles and height to be quite an interesting player. He’s really solid going to his left hand and finishing with length. Not quite sure how much he will play on the ball down the road but the ability to make plays on the wing will help as well as in transition. Was defensively helpful as a guy that could use his size and length in the post. He altered a couple shots and helped on the boards. Add a little weight and show a perimeter jumper and it will be real easy to buy in.
#35 Landon Morris – 6’5 SF 2021 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN)
**8 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Landon is a big wing with some inside-out game. Was really adept int he post where he was able to out-maneuver the bigger players trying to stick with him. He’s so mobile and able to play out on the wing that he should draw a ton of mismatches. Skilled enough to take his man to the rim and big enough to match up somewhat physically to bigger post players and forwards. Really good game, showcasing a lot of what he can do.
#21 Vinny Buccilla – 6’0 PG 2021 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN)
**7 points against Culver Academies (IN)**
Vinny is a tall lead guard with some offensive ability. He’s a fairly solid catch-and-shoot guy from deep but handles the ball well enough and just tall enough to lean up on defenders to get to the rim. He’s got a little flash and plays consistent. He could still grow and end up playing off the ball more down the road, mainly due to scoring ability and size. Was good today handling Culver’s size on the ball and really didn’t seem too affected by it at all.
#3 Ethan Brittain-Watts – 6’2 PG 2019 – Culver Academies (IN) [Committed to Boston University]
**13 points against Hamilton Southeastern (IN)**
One of the better games we have seen from Ethan. His aggressiveness was up quite a bit and he was using runners and pull-up jumpers more than normal. He looks bigger and tougher than this summer. Thought he also played a tick faster, improving his tempo at the point. Jump shot looked good and really had everything working. He’s got more to draw from and produce at an even higher level but good to see him take a step forward.
#32 Trey Galloway – 6’4 SG 2020 – Culver Academies (IN)
**9 points against Hamilton Southeastern (IN)**
Not the biggest or best game from Galloway as he didn’t really get going in the offense. He had some plays, mostly driving at the rim, but was just a little short on some of the shots. Did have some trouble matching up, drawing Etherington a few times on drives at the rim and he lost a couple of those.
#50 Nick Hittle – 6’9 C 2020 – Culver Academies (IN)
**17 points against Hamilton Southeastern (IN)**
The best game we have seen from Hittle thus far. He looks like he is moving so much better and able to create with a dribble in the low post. He also got a bunch of looks from three and was knocking all of them down. He’s a really big post player and always showed that ability to shoot but up until today, we hadn’t seen him package all of his skill into one game. This was that game. He’s still going to have to cut down on the body and improve the agility but he’s already made pretty good strides.
#24 Deontae Craig – 6’4 SF 2020 – Culver Acadmies (IN)
**16 points against Hamilton Southeastern (IN)**
While Craig will likely play football at the next level, he’s so good at the high school level as an interior guy. So good on the boards and made offensive plays out of rebounds and loose balls. Doesn’t need anything ran for him, likely didn’t all day long, but still put up really good numbers. Wish he was a little taller but likely much better at football than basketball in college.
#2 Armaan Franklin – 6’5 SG 2019 – Cathedral (IN) [Committed to Indiana]
**27 points against Zionsville (IN)**
Franklin started off the game about as hot as you could as he went 4/4 from three for 12 points early in the game. He was playing a little stronger at the rim and had a few plays where he had to tough it out to finish through contact. Added strength in college could go a long way.
#0 James Franklin – 6’0 PG 2019 – Cathedral (IN)
**18 points against Zionsville (IN)**
Again, he keeps getting better. Jumper looked better and he was attacking the rim against a little more pressure this time and seemed to handle the physicality better. His game IQ seems to be back as well as he was picking his spots really well and finding the easy pass better. Each game, seems to do a lot for him.
#10 Justin Hensley – 6’4 SF 2019 – Cathedral (IN)
**20 points against Zionsville (IN)**
This is a pretty typical game for Hensley when his jumper is going perfectly. He was shooting off the catch and the pull-up and had no problem stepping out to the volleyball line. He didn’t add much more on offense outside of the shooting but when you hit 6 triples that can cure a lot of problems. Still, I think he has more with the ball handling that will transition in the next level, just have to draw it out.
#12 Tayshawn Comer – 5’10 PG 2022 – Cathedral (IN)
**9 points against Zionsville (IN)**
Comer was pretty steady yet again. Plays like the toughest guy on the floor most of the time and as a freshman, that is a great characteristic to have. He’s just so good getting into the lane where he can use his physical body. Didn’t show that perimeter jumper in this one and wasn’t as crisp with the handle as before but still really solid performance.
#11 Isaiah Thompson – 6’0 PG 2019 – Zionsville (IN) [Committed to Purdue]
**27 points against Cathedral (IN)**
So far this season, in the two games we have seen Thompson hasn’t had his three pointer really working all that well. He hit a couple late in the game and seemed to get ramped up after that. However, he was exceptional creating fouls with the ball in his hand. He knows how to work he refs and create contact just bringing the ball up the floor. Drew a ton of free throws and took advantage.
#24 Nate Childress – 6’7 PF 2019 – Zionsville (IN) [Committed to Bethel College]
**18 points against Cathedral (IN)**
Childress seemed to do really good in this game of using that athleticism and size more. He was in the air a ton making plays at the rim, rebounding and finishing. Had a couple athletic defensive plays too where he came on the weak side for help. Also knocked down a three to show the range. Thought he was a little more aggressive getting in the lane than against Carmel. Definitely more effective. Defensively, he cause some issues for Cathedral’s guards in the paint.
#21 Brandon Vernon – 6’6 PF 2019 – Zionsville (IN)
**11 points against Cathedral (IN)**
Vernon is one of the better shooters in the state but he’s very streaky. He got hot early in this one and was draining some big triples, three in the first half. He’s capable of really doing more throughout the game, just has to find those spots better. If he can put the body in better shape, he could be an interesting college player.
#32 Hogan Orbaugh – 6’8 C 2019 – Zionsville (IN) [Committed to DePauw]
**6 points against Cathedral (IN)**
Hogan has performed pretty well this season creating some scoring chances in the low post for himself. He’s getting some touches and able to getting tough finishes at the rim. But, he’s also getting the ball off rebounds and finding his spots as well. There will be a point where he gets to moving even better and things are going to take off.
#22 Anthony Scales – 6’5 SF 2020 – Zionsville (IN)
**8 points against Cathedral (IN)**
Scales continues to impress as a shooter. Not really a deep range guy but his mid-range touch is right there. So good in that 15′ area where he can pull up on a dime. He did knock down a triple and drove to pick up a foul and free throws as well. Would like to see a little more on the boards but really good start to the junior season. He’s got a good amount of skill for a wing and the body you want. Could take a big jump this time next year.
#23 Trayce Jackson-Davis – 6’10 PF 2019 – Center Grove (IN) [Committed to Indiana]
**18 points against La Lumiere (IN)**
With everyone watching in the state and playing a national prep school power, Trayce Jackson-Davis put on a show for the fans. He dominated the game and was making plays on and literally on top of Top 5 talent Isaiah Stewart. Showed he has more speed and athleticism with the ball in his hands and when he can get matched up 10′ out from the rim, he’s one of the best post players in the country getting to the rim. Was good defensively against Stewart for about 3 quarters until he work up but still, he played smart defensively and used his length as effectively as you could ask for. This was a Mr. Basketball type performance.
#10 Spencer Piercefield – 6’0 PG 2019 – Center Grove (IN) [Committed to Indiana Wesleyan]
**12 points against La Lumiere (IN)**
This was one of the best games at the high school level we have seen from Piercefield. He was as aggressive as he has been, while he has shown that during AAU. Drove with some speed and toughness and made the finishes against length and size. Jumper looked solid and didn’t take many bad looks. Would actually like to see more of that aggressiveness, even if that comes with a few bad shots but he has the ability to play like an alpha but is more timid during the high school season.
#13 Justin DeGraaf – 6’6 PF 2020 – Center Grove (IN)
**4 points against La Lumiere (IN)**
While he didn’t do as much on offense as he usually does, he was much better defensively and gave quality minutes off the bench. Was a lot better and more locked in to his effort. If he can take that part of his game a step up, balance out his game on both sides of the ball, that would be great progress through his junior year.
#20 Ben Cooney – 6’5 SF 2020 – Center Grove (IN)
**3 points against La Lumiere (IN)**
Cooney is a tall forward with great agility and some athleticism. Was in a tough spot defensively but did pretty well and had a couple big plays. He’s got that size and some length so he was able to get out and hedge up top as well as cover as a post defender. Offensively, he did show he could put the ball on the floor and get to the rim as well as finish with some agility.
#33 Isaiah Stewart – 6’9 C 2019 – La Lumiere (IN)
**22 points against Center Grove (IN)**
For three quarters of this game, Stewart did struggle against the length and athleticism of Trayce Jackson-Davis. He was solid at times but really only had 4 points at halftime. Then, he got motivated and took this game completely over, putting Center Grove in the rearview. He’s so physically imposing and agile in the paint that even if he does finish the first time, he’s going to get the rebound and dunk it as strong as he possibly can. Wanted to see him play like that all game but it was a clear switch flip that happened. Can handle the ball a bit, away from the rim but is more bruising than finesse. Good footwork and unbelievable hands and strength. A man-child in every sense of the word.
#12 Keion Brooks Jr. – 6’7 SF 2019 – La Lumiere (IN)
**22 points against Center Grove (IN)**
Keion looked as good as advertised. He was really good early in the game, taking his shooting to a new level for us to see. Great from deep and made some pull-ups in the mid-range. Was great defensively helping on the weak side against Jackson-Davis a bit. He just plays with a massive motor and is always looking to make play after play and is a monster on the boards at times.
#32 Paxson Wojcik – 6’5 SF 2019 – La Lumiere (IN) [Committed to Loyola (IL)]
**6 points against Center Grove (IN)**
Paxson is a long, lean wing who looks much improved with his ball handling and drive ability. He was actually better driving than shooting in this game as he was able to beat guys with the first step or two and lean on them with his size to finish. Not clean with the drive but quite a bit better and productive. Looks like he could develop that more at the college level and when he puts on the strength, he’s going to really have a ton of upside to dive into, outside of being a high-end shooter.
#11 Wendell Green Jr. – 5’11 PG 2022 – La Lumiere (IN)
**6 points against Center Grove (IN)**
Green is a lightning quick lead guard with some length and a quick jumper when he uses it. Had a nice floater in the lane in transition that works well with his length. Could be a pretty solid defender at the next level with the quick twitch and length. Caused some issues for CG’s guards.
#22 Kamari Lands – 6’6 SF 2022 – La Lumiere (IN)
**0 points against Center Grove (IN)**
Kamari is a long, lanky wing with great athleticism and some handles that are going to keep him playing with the ball in his hands for a long time. He’s good slashing in the lane and making plays using his size and length. Had some foul trouble but was able to help on defense quite a bit, switching a few different times on a variety of players. Easy to see the upside and elite talent level.
