Cam Clardy 6’0 PG / 2020 / Bridgeland High School. He played solid on Day 1 at the event. He finished with 15 points. Attacked the lane and penetrated the zone. Plays with a good motor. Has good speed with the dribble. Plays tough on ball defense and is a good floor general.
Cameron Maxwell 5’11 PG / 2019 / Cypress Creek High School. Played very solid all game long. He got his teammates involved. Played aggressive and got after the 50/50 balls. He was active defensively and on the boards. Finished with 19 points.
Ed Trahan 6’3 F / 2019 / Cypress Creek High School. Was active on the glass and came down with 8 rebounds. Was very physical on the inside to help his team stay in this gem until the final buzzer. He finished with 15 points. Knocked down some key free throws.
Anthony ‘AJ’ Ferguson 6’3 SG / 2021 / Cypress Park High School. Shot the ball at a high rate. Knocked down a lot of big shots at the right time. He came away with 2 steals. Young prospect is the leader of his young varsity team. He finished with 12 points.
Evan James 6’2 WF / 2019 / Arlington Bowie High School. Played solid early on was active on the glass. He had to be the big and the wing on the floor for his team. Fatigue got to him in the final quarter. He finished the game with 15 points.
Bonke Maring 6’9 C / 2019 / Cypress Springs High School. Was very solid from start to finish. Played smart and took the correct shots at the right times. He was altering shots in the paint and from the mid-range. He did some dirty work down low and finished around the rim. Finished with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Clayton Maywald 6’3 WG / 2019 / Cypress Springs High School. Had a slow start in the beginning of the game. But came out on a mission in the final quarter of the game. He knocked down four big 3-pointers. One of which was the game winning shot at the final buzzer.
Micah Peavy 6’7 SF / 2020 / Duncanville High School. Showed off his elite skill set straight from the jump with an backdoor alley-oop. He finished with 4 dunks in the game. He went coast to coast for a nice finger roll. Two steps from the three point line to the cup is all it took. His opponent didn’t have any bigs, but he guarded every single player on the floor. He finished the game with 18 points.
Derek Luna 6’1 SG / 2020 / Duncanville High School. Has a nice jumper. He jumps high and has a high release on his shot. He knocked down 4 trey balls in the game. Each shot was contested that he made. He shot 4/7 from behind the arc. He missed a couple of bunnies around the rim. He finished the game with 12 points.
Kenneth Lofton Jr 6’6 CF / 2020 / Port Arthur Memorial High School. Continues to play at a high level consistently. Has great footwork. Can stretch out the floor with outside game. Has soft hands and finished at the rim. He was a major force in the paint defensively. Was like baby Rodman on the glass pulling down 18 rebounds. He finished with 23 points.
Keionte Cornelius 5’10 PG / 2019 / Spring High School. Is arguably the Greater Houston too high school scorer regardless of class. Keionte has been really feeling it lately and tonight was no different. The quick dribbling point knows how to create for him self. Has a quick jumper with quick release to get off over his opponent. He beat his defender to the rim and finished all layups. He finished with 39 points. Shot 8/10-2FG, 6/8-3PT, and 3/3-FT.
Christyon Eugene 6’2 SG / 2019 / Spring High School. Played with a high motor all night long. Very active hands defensively. He came away with 4 steals. Was active on the glass and pulled down 7 rebounds. He had two dunks in the game. Was very vocal on the floor. He finished with 17 points. Went 2/2 from behind the arc.
