Seniors across our state played enough basketball now to provide a resume worth perusing. Scoring totals and high school coach recommendations probably began reaching the desks of recruiters. Division II and NAIA coaches, in particular, are scouring the state in search of prospective signees.
Bryan College recently began extending interest to Landon Wilson (pictured above).
Southwind shooting guard Codey Bates has been “hearing from Huntington in Alabama and Pensacola State College,” said Bates.
2019 G Codey Bates (Southwind) belongs on a LM roster next year. Kameron Jones is also LM-MM good for Southwind.

Last Friday Tennessee Wesleyan watched senior guard Marcus Smith (Oak Ridge) play basketball.
Smith’s teammate at Oak Ridge, JaVonte Thomas is hearing from Bryan College.
Columbia State and Martin Methodist spent time evaluating Summertown senior guard Brady Brown earlier this season.
Brady Brown also boasts budding interest from Freed-Hardeman, Union, Christian Brothers, and Northeast Community College.
Matthew Murrell, according to an interview with his father Carl, plans to visit Tennessee and Missouri after the Whitehaven high school season. Their season could extend into March if the Tiger success matches their expectations.
“Huntingdon College in Montgomery attended Page practice looking at Nate Hollmann,” said Nate’s father Curt Hollmann. “Under the radar 6’6” stretch 4 averaging 15.2 points on 62% shooting in last 6 games. Expecting increased interest with those numbers. Was hurt over the summer so came into the year pretty unknown.”
Page High in Franklin, Tennessee began this season 3-6 overall.
The @PrepHoopsTN Player of the Month for November Marvin Hughes was called by Belmont last week. He has a UAB offer and a little Murray State interest.
Hughes is ranked as the #4 prospect in the Class of 2020.
Washington University in St. Louis Missouri was in attendance last Friday to see Nate Bloedorn go for 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. Bloedorn plays for Nolensville High School.
WashU has been deep in contact with Nate and even offered him.
