At the end of each month throughout the season, we will be diving into those players still on the board and looking at who fits where. Things can change in the span of a week so each month should provide us with a whole new view on the landscape.

Today, we are looking at the 2019 small forwards and this players still remaining on the board. We list the DI, DII, NAIA, and DIII targets. As a note, these are based off of where we think the player will excel at the highest level. Players will get recruited above and below the level we have them listed for but it is our estimation that these are where they would succeed the most.

DI Targets Still On The Board:

Only one player remains at the DI spot on the board and it hasn’t changed for a while. We thought a commitment wouldn’t be out of the question before the new year but doesn’t look like that is going to happen and it is going to be more than likely after the season.

DII Targets Still On The Board:

For the second month in a row, we are out of DII small forward prospects to look at.

NAIA Targets Still On The Board:

The NAIA prospects stay the same except for Myles Johnson going off the board.  Having watched Reis Thomas, he looks like a guy more teams should be looking into. Hayden Smithey is another player that could provide some NAIA programs with a skilled wing.

DIII Targets Still On The Board:

No changes to the DIII board this time around. There are plenty of options still available with guys that provide a little bit of everything. Having seen Xavier Hines, he seems to be a perfect fit for a school that needs a scoring option. Snodgrass could be on the verge of jumping up a level. Looks like he is beginning to take off.
