This game had a couple of state ranked players on both ends playing in the Tuesday night matchup. Freshman standouts Keyonte George and Nazir Brown both played well for their teams. LD Bell was without talented Junior Deng Alier but it didn’t stop them from picking up the win over a good Lewisville team 70-60.
Players of the Game: LD Bell
????Diaper Dandy????
Nazir Brown / 6’0” / PG / 2022 (Prep Hoops Player of The Game)
Brown showed the ability to make things happen for his team when he had the ball in his hands. Brown has a good frame for a player his age and uses it to allow him to absorb contact and not get pushed around by older players. The Freshman has the ball on a string and got past defenders with time after time and finished with nifty acrobatic layups at the rim. Brown can shoot it off the bounce from deep and from the midrange.
Jaden Wells / 6’2″ / SG / 2020
Wells plays the game hard from start to finish and knows how to score the ball even if his silky smooth jump shot isn’t falling. Wells is a good secondary ball handler that can help bring the ball up or penetrate past defenders for scoring opportunities at the rim.
Sam Pilcher / 6’4” / SF / 2019
Pilcher did a good job of doing all the little things on both ends. He has solid ball handling ability and can knock down shots from deep.
Edward Zachariah / 6’5” / Forward / 2019
Zachariah didn’t have a lot of points in a win vs. Lewisville but he definitely made a huge impact on the defensive end. I didn’t keep track of Zachariah stats but if I did I’m sure it was at least 5 plus rebounds and 3 blocks.
Lewisville Players Of The Game

Keyonte George / 6’3 / Sg / 2022
George the Freshman Phenom didn’t have his best shooting performance but George still finished with a a game high 19 points.
