71st HS 2019 Wing Trevon Bell: The improvement that he has displayed over the past few months has been outstanding. The combination of hard work and opportunity has allowed him to showcase what he can possibly be on the next level. He can score the ball in multiple ways and doesn’t have much of an issue creating his own shot, colleges looking for a talented wing should keep an eye on him, he went for 29 points on the night.
Pinecrest HS 2021 Guard Bradlee Haskell: There is no doubt about it, this youngster has a chance to be special. He plays the game with a poise that is beyond his years, he doesn’t allow himself to get rattled or for defenders to speed up his game. Instead he plays with the calmness of an upperclassmen but the joy of a middle schooler as you will always see him smiling on the court. One play in particular that showed this was a corner three pointer that he knocked down despite very good defensive pressure to send the game to OT. Finished with 22 Points on the night.
71st HS 2019 Forward Brion McLaurin: He has been a player that we have seen increase his stock over the past few months. His ability to play inside the paint as well as stretch the floor due to his ability to shoot the ball are things we like from him. D2 programs have been showing interest and rightfully so, he still has a nice amount of upside to him and will develop nicely in the right program, finished with 25 points.
Pinecrest HS 2020 Wing Dillion Drennan: His three point shooting in the 4th quarter is one of the reasons that Pinecrest was able to get the win. He knocked down three treys in the period which helped to cut the lead down and push the teams to overtime, finished with 14 points.
Pinecrest HS 2020 Guard Noah Lyons: Another player that helped to provide some much needed offense for his team even though he would eventually foul out. He knocked down four treys on the day and was also solid on the defensive end of the floor, finished with 13 points.
71st HS 2019 Guard Demauriea Nickelson: Finished with 12 points overall in the game with 9 out of those 12 points coming in the first half. He is knocking down shots from deep, but when he is aggressive he is a tough player for teams to defend, William Peace has been showing interest so far.
