<p>The 2021 class for North Carolina is another strong core group of players from The Hoops State. Here is a look at some of the names that are going to be on college radars and names you will be reading about in newspapers across the state. </p>
<p>2021 SF <strong>Chris Ford</strong> (North Mecklenburg HS)-Tough; really strong two-way player; gets it in on defense; one of those players who loves to play defense and it shows; has a college ready frame; may be closer to 6'5; knows how to score and knows his role for the team. A player that will outwork anyone else; </p>
<p>2021 G <strong>AJ Smith</strong> (Hickory Grove Christian)-One of the best in the class at getting to the rim; really good at finishing in the paint; fundamentally sound both athletically and his mental approach to the game; uses back door cuts; comes off screens; high IQ player; plays with the always guard tough Team Charlotte program. </p>
<p>2021 PG<strong> Carter Whitt</strong> (Leesville Road)-One of the flashier players around the state; do it all guard that knows how to score from all points on the floor; knows how to run a team; really good court vision and awareness; high IQ guard; rebounds well for position; </p>
<p>2021 SF <strong>Dontrez Styles</strong> (Kinston HS)-Able to score from all points on the floor with a 6'7 body; can face up and can put the ball on the floor; really good footwork; mobile; can score from the perimeter and in the paint; may be the top overall prospect in the state for 2021. </p>
<p>2021 PG <strong>Brock Williams</strong> (Burlington Christian)-Pure scoring PG; does a good job of not turning the ball over; makes the right play; does not force a lot; either is getting fouled or making the shot when attacking the basket; good defender; creates space from defender when attacking or getting open shot; </p>
