2020 W Ricky Council IV (Southern Durham HS)-smooth player that is a scorer first; high-flying athletically; good form on his jumper; can really elevate; uses athleticism to block shots and get a lot of rebounds; comes from a family of basketball players;
2020 G Christian Hampton (Northwest Guilford HS)-smooth scoring lefty with good court awareness; can finish at the rim; and can finish with contact; can shoot it consistently from outside; nice form on his shot; good rotation overall,
2020 G Josh Banks (Olympic HS)-Big time shooting guard; can really get hot from outside and has really good size; very athletic; can finish plays well above the rim; tough-nosed kid that can handle contact.
2020 G Ben Bryson (West Henderson HS)-Son of former WCU player Joey Bryson, Ben is a high level IQ player, fundamentally sound, does not make many mistakes; really good off the dribble; strong shooter; has grown 2 inches from last season; smart with the ball in his hands; has taken over as the leader of this team; starting to mature into his own game;
2020 Justin Wright (Farmville Central HS)-excellent ball handler, has a high amount of moves that keeps defenders guessing and allows him to get to his spots without much issue. Also he has a nice IQ for the game, although he has the ability to score the ball well he gets everybody involved and doesn’t just settle. On defense he brings consistent effort, he has nice lateral quickness and very quick hands that he uses to come up with steals and cause issues for opponents. Is starting to take the lead for this team and should be a borderline HM recruit by his senior season.
