2019 November Sleepers
The 2019 class is loaded with talent. College coaches have started to take notice, and recently offers were being made to several recruits (recruiting updates coming this week). There are several players that have been consistent for their team and deserve more recognition.
Sabatian Terry (Lawerence Co): Terry is a 6’9 athletic big. There are things he can do on the court that others can’t. He rebounds at a high rate. Sabatian protects the rim well, and he tries to dunk everything. A undervalued skill set of Terry’s is his ability to move extremely well. Sabatian is an underrated passer. He recently posted a 22 and 18 game. Teams looking for bigs should have Sabatian Terry on the board.
JP Robinson (Deshler): Robinson might be a smaller point guard (5’10), but he can flat out play. Robinson has a smooth stroke and attacks the bucket fearlessly. Robinson is a confident guard who can easily get you 20. As the feature player for Deshler, watch for Robinson to have high scoring nights with big assist totals. Robinson holds offer from UAH and UNA, but as Robinson shows he belongs, more will come.
Eddie Smith (Huffman): Smith impressed many at the N2Hoops Invitational. At 6’2, Smith can play either guard spot. He is averaging 18.5 points, 2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds. Eddie has a bulldog mentality, and he does not back down from competition. Smith has a smooth midrange game and is a very good on ball defender. Smith currently holds an offer from Delta State, but colleges in need of strong guard play should contact Smith.
