Maison Hall – Aiken HS
Hall is a strong built guard for the Hornets. Hall 6’1 can really draw contact well and has the ability to finish in traffic. Hall excels on the football field along with the basketball court. Hall really likes to attack the basket from all angles on the floor. Aiken HS was hit hard last season with the graduation of several players and Nazae Baltimore transferring out.
CJ Jamison – Legacy Early College (Greenville)
Jamison is a great glue guy for a team. Jamison is just a jack of all trades on the floor. Jamison can rebound the ball on both ends and fill up the stat sheet every night with consistent effort. Jamison is a strong student academically and a great TEAM PLAYER.
Khalil Stringer – Broome HS (Spartanburg)
Stringer plays for the Centurions out on the eastern part of the city. Stringer has a knack to score the ball whenever on the floor. Stringer really likes to have the ball in his hands and has the ability to create his own shot. Stringer can pile up some points quickly
Ashton Parker – Northwestern HS (Rock Hill)
Parker 6’5 is very quick off the floor and has great length. Parker will look to attempt to block everything in site of given the opportunity. Parker has a very slender frame and really runs the floor well. Parker gets a lot of deflections in the lane with his constant activity.
Desmond Murray – Williston-Elko HS (Williston)
Murray got his senior season underway for the Blue Devils this past week. Murray scored 30 points in a 2 point loss to Estill HS and came back with a 22 points and 15 rebounds effort vs Branchville HS. Murray 6’3 really lacks that true position still for the next level. Murray has made some strides to be more of perimeter player for the Blue Devils. Murray should have a big season number wise and will have to for the Blue Devils who lost Keshawn Toney (South Carolina Football signee)
Logan Ammons – Hanahan HS
Ammons recently came back from retirement it seemed for the Hawks. Ammons didn’t play last season after getting hurt. Ammons 6’3 missed the first 3 games this season because he was playing strong safety for the football team. Ammons a shooting guard played at Northwood Academy a few seasons before coming to Hanahan HS.
Darius Dawson – West Florence HS (pictured on front)
Dawson is new to the state of South Carolina this season. Dawson 6’5 a military kid played last season in South Dakota. Dawson has the ability to play inside-out at times and really finishes well around the basket with both hands. Prep Hoops first saw Dawson at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in Myrtle Beach this past September. Dawson hasn’t scratched the surface of his play yet.
