WBHS Jamboree: 2019 & 2020 Standouts
South Robeson 2019 Guard Kylerr Page: We have seen him numerous times already so we knew what to expect from him. He’s a player that can score the ball at a pretty high level, with good strength and a quick first step he didn’t have much of an issue of blowing by defenders. He is a player that colleges on the JUCO level will want to start reaching out to ASAP as he is a player that will most likely need to go that route.
Jack Britt 2019 Wing Calvin Washington: The Mount Olive signee played well throughout the day, he is one of the more versatile players in the area on both ends of the floor. On offense he can play the wing or stretch four spot, while on the defensive end, he can guard multiple positions. Look for him to have another big time season, being a 20 Point, 10 rebound per night player won’t be difficult for him at all.
East Columbus 2019 Guard Donavan Worley: We liked the leadership abilities that he showed for his team, which is something that you need from your senior PG. He does a solid job of keeping the game simple, getting the teams into their sets, he doesn’t allow pressure to speed his game up at all. Look for him to have some big time assist numbers this year if all goes right, his team will need him to play at a high level for them to be successful.
Myrtle Beach 2020 Guard Emorie Knox:One of the best PG prospects that we saw throughout the day, he was a difficult player for any defender that matched up with him. He has a nice mixture of speed and poise, he can push the tempo but doesn’t get out of control or losing sight of what his team needs from him. He can defend at a high level, knock down shots on the offensive end and has a nice overall IQ for the game.
South Brunswick 2019 Guard AJ Rossi: As the day went on, it seems as if he got better and did more positive things for his team. The game seemed to slow down for him and he didn’t force as many plays as he did earlier in the day, he knocked down some shots, made some good reads and defended without fouling. If South Brunswick wants to be successful this season, they will need production from Rossi and Jace.
