Veterans Day Preseason Showcase: Final Notes
New Life Christian 2020 Guard Reggie Walton: Offensively he didn’t have his best showing but on the defensive end of the floor, he got after it. Constantly applying pressure and switching on to the hot man as the game went into pivotal moments where some of the things that we liked that we saw from him.
Wilson Prep 2021 Forward Nasir Blackston: Nice upside in his game, still has some things to perfect but overall we like his potential. He is another player that is athletic and mobile, runs the floor, has some face up moves and can play multiple positions on the court.
New Life Christian 2020 Forward Jeremyah McWilliams: Stepped up big time for his team late in the game with some big buckets in the paint. He runs the floor, blocks shots and understands how to play his role for the team to be successful. Consistently being aggressive on both ends of the floor will help him to progress recruitment wise over these next months.
Village Christian 2020 Wing Justin Thomas: He seems to be adjusting to his new surrounding fairly well as he been one of the more consistent players for the Knights. He is a player that can score the ball well but does a solid job of picking his spots, once he adds some more upper body strength, he will be an even tougher player to attempt to defend and his recruitment should rise.
Wilson Prep 2022 Wing Ja’kwon Moore: Very high amount of upside in this youngster, he has the ability to score the ball from multiple areas on the floor to go along with his height at a young age. You can see that he is constantly putting in time on his game as he has gotten better since the last time we saw him even though that was only a short time ago.
Village Christian 2022 Guard Zy Mclean: Another new transfer in for the Knights, Zy had a nice showing with production scoring the ball. His confidence is continuing to grow which is something that you always like to see from a younger player, will be one to monitor closely over the next few years.
