Vanden High went 20-10 in the 2017-2018 season which was an exceptional record. In league last year the finished 10-0 and looking to keep that momentum with a good returning core of players coming back.
Jhaylon Martinez 2020– Standing 6”11 he is showing tremendous growth everyday. He can inside and out with the ability to bring the ball up the floor very comfortably. He is started to draw High major interest. Light on his feet he can grab the rebound and push the break himself and also step outside and shoot the three.
Teiano Hardee 2020– Hardee is a 6”5 swing man that has an exceptional shooting stroke. He is an incredible rebounder from the wing and has improved with the ball handling. Probably the most underrated kid in he class of 2020.
Ra’shjon Martinez 2020– Ray has grown in every way as a player over the last year. He has the ability to run a team or lead his team in scoring. One of the best two way players around. Becoming one of the best two way players in the area Ray is going to put his mark on his junior year.
Jonathan Cobbs 2019 At 6”2 Johnny is a guard that should get a lot more attention in the class of 2019. He is an elite shooter with a slippery handle. Looking to break out this senior year ad grab some eyes as well.
Omari Davis and Isaac Montgomery are both young 2021 guards but will provide a young spark. Both being able to score and defend they will provide help to their experienced upperclassman
Vanden’s season will begin at the “Opening tip off Marathon” against the St Joseph Notre Dame Pilots on November 24th.
