Top 2022 prospects from the Phenom Hoops National Showcase
2022 6’6 DJ Nix | Cannon School
From the beginning of the game till the end, Nix had it rollin. As a freshman he is currently listed at 6’6 with a lot of muscle on him. This past Saturday, he was unstopabble from 15 feet out and finished strong at the rim. He was throwing dunks down on multiple possessions and there was simply nobody able to slow him down low. He was all over the boards on offense and defense, too. He is currently receiving interest from East Tennessee, UNC Greensboro, West Virginia, NC State and Wake Forest.
2022 6’2 Jaden Bradley | Cannon School
After the first night of play at the showcase, Bradley picked up an offer from Florida and deservingly so. Bradley is a guy that has already been invited to Team USA Basketball and this past weekend he showed why he is one of the best prospects in the country for the 2022 class. His best attributes that I saw this past weekend were his ability to pass and his control with the ball.
2022 6’8 Perry Smith Jr. | Lincoln Academy
Smith is a 6’8 freshman and is already showing a lot of promise at a young age. He is a very good defender in which he can guard multiple positions. He has a good shot and is always ready to shoot the ball when he catches it. He will be one of Lincoln Academy’s better three point shooters this year.
2022 6’2 Jalen Higgins | Village Christian
Higgins is one of the better long term prospects that I saw this past weekend. I really liked his shooting stroke and his aggressiveness on offense. As a freshman he is already contributing on both ends of the floor but what is really standing out is his ability to score the basketball.
