The Summit Tip-Off Recaps (Part II)
Jordan Hayes / 6’0” / PG / Mansfield Lake Ridge / 2019
Hayes is a point guard that a coach loves to have on his team. Jordan does not need the ball all the time to make a play. He stepped in the passing lanes and intercepted passes for easy baskets. He has good handles that allows him to get by defenders to find his teammates inside or on the perimeter. Hayes is a college prospect that will be a good four year player wherever he decides to go.
Trey Tennyson / 6’3” / Sg / Mansfield Legacy / 2019
Tennyson is known as an assassin from the three point line, but at the Summit Tip-Off he showed that he is a versatile guard that is much more than a shooter. Tre ran the point guard position for his Legacy Broncos team and made good decisions with the ball in his hands. He is improving in all aspects of his game and is starting to figure out how to fill it up on all three levels. The Central Connecticut State commit is looking like he is going have a good senior season.
Joey Madimba / 6’4” / SF / Mansfield Lake Ridge / 2020
Madimba started off slow against Harker Heights and got into foul trouble early on. He eventually woke up and ended up finishing the game with 15 points. Joey is a smooth wing that can create for himself with the ball in his hands. He gets out well in transition and finishes with explosive dunks at the rim or tough layups through defenders.
