The Potter’s House is based out of Wyoming, Michigan.  One of the best parts of the high school basketball season is when an small school team makes a deep run come state tournament time.  The Pumas lost to Howardsvile Christian last year in the Class D regional semi-finals.  The Potter’s House will be moving up a class to a Class C school this year.

The Pumas are coached by Kevin Kuipers who got them going last year. Last season marked the end of the high school careers for five seniors including All-Conference/Honorable Mention All-State guard Josh Cassell, the team’s leading scorer.

Undefeated in the Alliance League last year and finishing 17-6, the Pumas will need their returning players to continue playing unselfishly and support each other on both ends of the court.  They have a solid nucleus to build around and are poised to build on last year’s success.   The Potter’s House is one team to keep an eye on come March.

BEN CLARK –  Sr.  G,  A returning captain who averaged 12 PPG last year.  He is a very unselfish player who likes to distribute the ball.  One of the Pumas’ best defenders and is a great team player. First Team All-Conference selection last year.

NYUON NHIAL – Sr.  F, C,   He provides a major impact up front. At 6-foot-5, Nhial is a double-double machine. Nhail is a real good rebounder and he also leads the Pumas in blocked shots.  He is one of those players that finds ways to contribute on both ends of the floor.  First team All-Conference last year.

TOBY REINSMA – Sr.  F,  Toby started every game and is a tremendous defender who brings a lot of hustle to the court.

CASE MEDEMA – Jr.  G. His second year on varsity.  He provided valuable minutes last year and should step into a starting role this season.

Other contributers who look to make an impact this season for the Pumas are David Bulten (Sr. F), Daniel Lee (Sr. G)  and Keenan Garcia – (Sr. C )
