Region 4-AAAA Players to Watch (2019)
Prep Hoops takes pride in watching as many teams as possible in the Palmetto State. Lets take a look at Region 4-AAAA located in the Midlands.
Juwan Perdue (2019) – Lakewood HS (pictured on front)
Perdue has already committed to Jacksonville State University for next season. Perdue 6’6 left-handed small forward has been moonlighting on the football field this fall for the Gators. Perdue has been a fixture on the roster for Head Coach Bryan Brown and the Gators since his freshman season.
Nazir Andino – Lakewood HS
Andino came in this summer from nearby Crestwood HS. Andino seems to be better off the ball. Andino has played at Crestwood and Laurence Manning Academy in the past. Andino has deep range shooting ability but is a very streaky shooter.
Derrick Sinkler – AC Flora HS
Sinkler a catch-shoot guy has the ability to knockdown three pointers, Sinkler will look to lead the Falcons with this season after averaging 16 ppg last season. Sinkler will look to be the leader for the Falcons this season. Sinkler has the ability to create his own shot.
Daniel Finney – AC Flora HS
Finney has collected a few NCAA D2 offers this fall. Finney is a rugged kid in the paint and has the ability to play with his back to the basket. Finney averaged 6.5 rebounds last season for the Falcons.
RJ Mobley – AC Flora HS
Mobley 6’4 is a glue guy on the hardwood and a wide receiver on the Falcons (8-2) football team. Mobley plays bigger than his size and his quick off the floor.
Frank Lee – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS
Lee a strong guard point guard was up and down last season for the Bruins. Lee will look to breakout this season for Bruins Head coach Willie Thomas. Lee has the ability to bully people from the guard and sees the floor really well.
Justin Hodges – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS
Hodges is a run-jump-athlete that just needs to be more consistent on the floor. Hodges spent time in the Charlotte, NC area before coming down to the Bruins last season.
Lower Richland looks to be a young team this coming season with the departure of Christian Brown.
