Strengths:
- Lanky and lengthy big man who scores in the paint; native of England
- Long arms; protects the rim; potential solid defender on the low block
- Capable of stepping out and hitting a 20-foot jumper off the catch
Weaknesses:
- Needs to add strength to his skinny frame; easily bumped off balance on the low post
- Struggles to finish through contact due to lack of upper body strength
- Still raw
Valentin Catt / 6’9″ / C / Orangefield (Orange, TX) / Level: Low Major
Strengths:
- Long and active big man from Cameroon; protects the rim by altering and blocking shots; shot swatting extraordinaire
- Will get on the defensive glass
- Has displayed the ability to score in the paint; has upside
Weaknesses:
- Raw talent who still has ways to go
- Needs to develop a better feel around the basket
Kylon Owens / 6’9″ / C / South Oak Cliff / Level: Low Major
Strengths:
- Big man who is at his best when he scores in the paint; will rebound
- Active on both ends; capable of hitting the 17-footer
Weaknesses:
- Basketball I.Q.; Takes unnecessary perimeter jumpshots; sometimes contested
- Does not finish consistently around the basket; inconsistent motor
Allen Udemadu / 6’10” / C / Cy-Fair Learning Center (Houston, TX) / Level: Mid-Major
Strengths:
- Raw talent that gets off the floor well; active on the glass; very solid rim protector;
- Lean but strong body; finishes dump off passes with dunks;
- Athletic and moves well; runs the floor, catches and finishes
Weaknesses:
- Still raw; uncoordinated footwork on the low block; feels rushed
- Turnovers the ball; tends to travel due to lack of footwork
