MISD Spring Creek BBQ Preview
Mansfield Independent School district will be playing host to some of the top high school basketball teams and players in the state of Texas. This years Tournament will also have a team from Shreveport Louisiana participating in the annual tournament.
Top Teams/Players in Attendance
The 6A Denton Guyer Wildcats are loaded with college prospects on their team. The Wildcats are a Top 10 team in the state and are led by De’Vion Harmon and Jalen Wilson.
De’Vion Harmon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 6’1” / PG / Denton Guyer / 2019
Harmon is a tough athletic point guard that does everything his team needs him to do. Harmon very seldomly makes the wrong play with the ball in his hands. He not only makes plays offensively he also defends at a high level as well.
Jalen Wilson ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 6’7” / SF / Denton Guyer / 2019
The 4 star Wilson is a strong slashing forward that attacks well in a half court setting. Wilson is a good shooter that hits multiple jumpers when left open.
The Duncanville Panthers are one of the Top Teams in 6A for the state of Texas. They are lead by nationally ranked 4 star players Jahmius Ramsey and Micah Peavy.
Jahmius Ramsey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 6’5” / SG / Duncanville / 2019
Ramsey is an elite athlete that can score it in a multitude of ways. The Texas Tech Commit can also shoot it well from distance. He is having a good senior season so far and looks to continue to build on his strong play this weekend.
Micah Peavy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 6’5” / SF / Duncanville / 2020
Peavy is a smooth skilled forward that excels and transition and finishes well at the rim. The four star Junior has a good first step and knows how to get in the seams of the defense.
Fort Bend Elkins
The Houston native team is one of the most talented teams in the state. Fort Bend Elkins is led by Donovan Williams and Colin Warren.

Williams is a long armed smooth as Jazz music Shooting Guard. Williams takes his time on the offensive end and scores it well from the outside and knows when to attack and when not to.
