Team Outlook
Expectations:
“Expectations will be high this season, but we know as a team and program that last seasons success doesn’t automatically translate into guarantees this season. We have a great group of kids in the program. We return strong leadership, key players from last years team, and a mix of new young talent around them. While we as a team have set our goals for the season, its important that we just build upon the previous day and continue to improve.” – Coach Bucklin
Areas of Concern:
“Each year brings a new and unique challenge in itself. We are going to take things day by day and work as hard as possible and see where it takes us.” – Coach Bucklin
Best Case Scenario:
“Repeat in 2018-2019 season as I-8 Champions, build upon a District title and Regional semifinalist game, and make a long run into mid March!” – Coach Bucklin
Key Returnees:
“The 2018-2019 team returns 5 key players who all saw significant minutes from last years talented team.” – Coach Bucklin
