Alabama 2019: Early Season Top Performers
Already, Alabama high basketball has seen some athletes fill up the stat sheet. There’s nothing like your senior season. These top performers are doing whatever it takes to help their team succeed, and to raise their stock as a recruit.
Kuran Garner : The 6ft point guard came out this season ready to play. Garner dropped a cool 52 on a well coached Huntsville High team that has their own next level prospects. What was impressive about Garner’s performance, is that he stayed in attack mode. Kuran scored on every level, and the kid was an amazing 24-28 from the free throw line. As Garner goes, Buckhorn goes.
BJ Comer: This kid has been on a mission. If you don’t know who BJ Comer is, you will find out soon enough. Comer is a 6’1 point guard that can flat out score (22.5 ppg). Comer can shoot it from deep on one possession, and the very next he’s attacking the rim. Through the early season, he’s shown improved playmaking ability as well. BJ’s stock is going to trend upward and offers will come his way.
Malik Tyson (Sparkman): Malik is the ultimate team guy. At 6’4, He fills whatever role his team needs. Malik is a workhorse on both ends of the court. He’s not afraid to bang for rebounds, he can shoot the three, and Malik is hard to stop on drives. In the N2Hoops Invitational, Malik has a 24 point game and a monster 36-7-4 game under his belt.
