Here are some additional prospects that are talented and still available in North Carolina’s Class of 2019. These available seniors were also on hand during early season jamborees in Fayetteville, NC, earlier this month. Along with others I have seen in my travels around the state, from the mountains in the western part of the state, to the Piedmont region around High Point, Winston-Salem and Durham.

Joel Pettiford, 6-6 195, F, 2019, SW Gilford HS, Greensboro, NC
(Featured in the photo at the top of the page.)
This lefty is very, very bouncy, as in pogo stick bouncy. He’s very long and he has muscled up, quite a bit. He has very good strength and excellent verticality. He’s an excellent finisher and he has good touch inside 15 feet.

Rodney Carson, 6-4 180, 2G, Prep, Combine Academy, Lincolnton, NC
After playing at Girard HS, Philadelphia, PA, this talented wing decided to do a prep year at Combine Academy in the mountains of North Carolina. He’s a good athlete and a talented scorer that drives it really well and is a good shooter.

Rudy Fitzgibbons, 6-0 160, 1G, Combine Prep, Lincolnton, NC
This young man is very quick. He displays solid handles with very good composure and pace. He was solid in the first half although he was scoreless. He was unbelievable in the second half. Hitting his first five treys and knocking down 7-10 from the arc, he scored all 32 points of his game high total in those final 20 minutes.

Jayvis Harvey, 6-4 180, 2G, 2019, Southern Durham, Durham, NC
Jayvis is available after de-committing from Radford University. He’s a very good shooter who shoots it equally well from mid-range and from the arc. He is also an above average athlete that drives it well and can finish with a bang.

Christian Martin, 6-3 180, 2G, SW Gilford HS, Greensboro, NC
This young man is a strong athlete. He plays very good defense and he’s a very good perimeter shooter out to the arc. Christian is also an excellent student.

Chaz Gwynn, 6-1 175, 2G, 2019, W-S Prep, Winston–Salem, NC
A strong and bouncy, undersized 2G with lots of big game experience. He’s one of the very best shooters in North Carolina. His jumpshot looks good and he can hit anywhere from mid-range to 22 feet. He’s also a very good defender.
