LIBERTY, Mo. — One of the Kansas City area’s top early-season events, the annual 810Varsity Tipoff Classic will get underway at noon on Saturday at Liberty High School.

This year’s event will feature five games matching Kansas teams against Missouri teams from the Kansas City region.

The field features Kansas 6A runner-up Lawrence Free State, Kansas 5A state tournament finalist Schlagle, and up-and-coming Lawrence.
