Whats Going On? Recruiting News and Notes
It’s been a few weeks since we hit you guys with some recruitment news and updates so let’s take a look at what has been going on the recruitment world!
High Point University has been hitting the ENC trail hard, they recently offered Farmville Central 2021 Guard Terquavion Smith as well as 2021 South Granville Guard Bobby Pettiford.
2020 Forward Dean Reiber picked up an offer from Elon University recently, we got the chance to see Dean a few months back and was very impressed. He has a nice skillset overall and is only scratching the surface of how good he can possibly be.
The #2 prospect in 2021 GDS Guard Cam Hayes, picked up an offer Clemson University recently, Hayes is a very talented youngster and we expect to see him turns heads on the national level this coming season.
South Brunswick HS Senior Forward Jace Mckinney has verbally committed to UNC-Pembroke, which we feel is a great fit for both sides. He plays the game with a very high amount of intensity, never takes plays off, is a beast on the board and is a high flyer.
West Brunswick HS Junior G/F Jadyn Parker took an unofficial visit to East Carolina University, we loves his potential and the progress that he has already made so far. Anytime you have a youngster at 6’8 that can put the ball on the floor, shoot it from deep and make plays for others, then you have to keep a close eye on him.
Holly Springs HS 2020 Forward Kaleb Scott has been blowing up recently, he has gained interest from all types of D1 programs and took an unofficial visit to the University of Tennessee. We are excited to see the combination of Scott and Shedrick at Holly Springs this season without a doubt, both are talented and should cause problems for opponents.
Greenfield School 2020 Guard Djimon Bailey was invited down to UNCW for their recent Hurricane relief game a few days ago. Bailey has picked up quite a bit of interest from various programs including Rice, so to see a instate program like UNCW showing interest early is not much of a surprise.
On National Note, Kyree Walker of Hillcrest Prep reopened his recruitment and picked up offers from: Oklahoma, Memphis, Texas, LSU, CAL, Illinois and Nevada, all within a few days.
