- Dieonte Miles, Walton-Verona – Dieonte had a breakout July and racked up several mid major and high major scholarship offers before committing to play his college ball at Xavier. Miles has freak athleticism and length with really good shot blocking skills and is a good two handed rebounder. The 6’10 forward showed his ability to stretch the floor in July by hitting six threes in a game. His potential is likely the highest of any player in Kentucky right now.
- Isaiah Cozart, Madison Central – Fresh off a commitment to Western Kentucky over the weekend, Isaiah is going to shatter the state record for blocked shots before he graduates. While his best assets are his defensive instincts and shot blocking, his offensive game is catching up to his defense. Expectations are high for Isaiah this season as he looks to lead an inexperienced Madison Central team to Rupp Arena.
- Michael Moreno, Scott County – Moreno is probably the best pure post scorer in the class. He’s super polished on the low block and can stretch the floor all the way out to the three point line. While he isn’t a great rim protector, Michael is an excellent team defender who understands rotations and knows how to communicate with his teammates on that end of the floor. Moreno has been offered scholarships to about 20 schools and should land comfortably at a good D1 school in the spring.
- Nick Thelen, Covington Catholic – Another Senior who has already committed, Nick has pledged to spend his college years at Bellarmine in Louisville. With that decision out of the way, Nick is turning his attention to winning another state title with Covington Catholic. Thelen is a player who excels at running the floor and finishing around the rim. He’s not especially long but he is athletic and knows how to score the ball around the rim.
- Brennan Canada, George Rogers Clark – Canada is a 6’7 stretch 4 who used to be more comfortable on the perimeter than on the block but that has slowly changed. Now Brennan is an inside-out scoring threat for the Cardinals. Canada is a high academic student who has college interest from the service academies and D2/NAIA schools but could find a home at the D1 level with a strong Senior season.
