Player Analysis: B.J. Anderson is a 6’5″ Small Forward who plays for Tascosa High School in Amarillo. The senior sleeper does a little bit of everything. He shoots it well, defends well on the ball, and has a good feel for the game.B.J. also will crash the glass and takes charges when necessary on the defensive end.

Dre: Who did you play AAU with?
B.J.: I played with Gym Time Hoops. An Adidas Team in Oklahoma.
Dre’: Who is your favorite NBA player?
B.J.: Right now my favorite player is Alonzo Trier (New York Knicks). I love his ability to score when he gets the ball and attacks the basket strong!
Dre: Who is B.J. Anderson the person?
B.J.: I have a big heart on and off the court and I am always wanting to get to that next level by working on my game.
Dre: What schools are all talking to you right now?
B.J.: Angelo State just offered me. I love the coaches there and Abilene Christian talks with me too.
Dre’: What do you do to get you focus before a game?
B.J.: Before a game, I always tune everyone out put my headphones in. I think about the whole game in my head before I play it.
Dre’: What are some of your goals for yourself and your team this year?
B.J.: My goal this year is be a scorer this year and lead on the court. My team goal is for us to win our district!
Final Thoughts
Anderson is unknown around state of Texas, but once the high school season starts he will show people why he is one of the best uncommitted forwards in the state for his class.
