Recruiting Report: Mike Joiner (2019)
Mike Joiner, a class of 2019 guard from Hayfield, will have to elevate game to another level this year after his team lost a majority of it’s key contributors from last year, but he seems up to the task. Joiner talked about the schools that are most active in his recruitment and outlined his goals during a recent interview with Prep Hoops.

PH: Have you visited all those schools?
MJ: “Yes.”
PH: When do you think you will be committing?
MJ: “Right now probably at the end of the season. I want to see if I can expand my options some more.”
PH: How are your grades?
MJ: “Right now, I got a 3.0, and a 1070 SAT score, but I’ll be re-taking it soon.”
PH: What are your short term goals?
MJ: “Probably getting more efficient before the season starts.”
PH: What are you working on?
MJ: “Mid-range, and just adding more aspects to my overall game.”
PH: What do you think you can bring a college program?
MJ: “Just my IQ. I think I have a good feel for the game and it will translate well.”
